Requirements
  • The LPN must be a graduate of an LPN program and hold a current license.
  • The RMA or CMA must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and hold an active registration or certification.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills are required.
  • A self-starter, highly motivated candidate with a friendly, outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills is required.
Responsibilities
  • Obtain vital signs and general health information for the patient chart and prepare patients for examination.
  • Assist the provider with examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Assist with collecting laboratory specimens and performing tests ordered by the provider, or arrange patient testing, admissions, and referrals.
  • Enter and record patient information in charts concisely and accurately.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Three years of clinical experience in a physician's office is highly preferred.
  • Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system, office skills, and knowledge of medical and insurance terminology are preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of various health insurance plans is preferred.
