Toro introduces 24-inch Power Max HD snow blower, raises 2026 sales growth guidance to 6.6%

Toro Company has launched its first full-size, 24-inch Power Max HD two-stage snow blower, part of a four-model upgraded series that began shipping last autumn. The residential equipment features commercial-grade components including a 14-inch auger, heavy-duty frame, Never-Flat tyres and enhanced LED lighting in a compact format. The upgrade aims to bridge the gap between homeowner and professional-grade equipment, potentially strengthening Toro's position in snow and ice management. Alongside the launch, Toro raised its 2026 net sales growth guidance to 6.3-6.6%. Analysts project the company could reach $5.2 billion in revenue and $546.9 million in earnings by 2029, requiring 3.8% annual revenue growth. However, prolonged weak snowfall remains a key risk factor for the equipment manufacturer's performance.

Toro's quiet residential rebound powers a two-decade dividend streak.

Toro's quiet residential rebound powers a two-decade dividend streak. The Toro Company's fiscal third-quarter results carried a small footnote that matters more than the headline 8.4% sales growth: its long-underperforming residential business finally turned a real profit. Segment earnings jumped to $12.4 million from just $3.7 million a year earlier, lifting the residential margin to 5.9% from 1.9%. For a company that has raised its dividend for more than two decades, a second profit engine finding its footing - even a small one - is the kind of structural shift patient investors should be watching closely. Toro's professional segment, which still accounts for roughly 83% of sales and nearly 95% of combined segment earnings, grew revenue 8.8% to $1.01 billion, but its margin slipped to 20.9% from 21.3% as higher material and manufacturing costs outpaced price increases. Management still felt confident enough to raise full-year sales-growth guidance to a range of 6.3% to 6.6%, up from a prior 4.0% to 6.5% band - narrower and higher, which typically signals conviction rather than hope. Hedge fund ownership dipped modestly to 34 funds from 37 the prior quarter, a sign institutional investors are watching the margin trade-off rather than rushing in. The real question for patient capital is durability. Part of residential's 400-basis-point margin improvement came from the absence of last year's inventory-valuation charges, meaning some of that gain won't repeat. Professional's cost pressure is a live issue too, with pricing and productivity gains only partially offsetting higher input costs. Still, a company with Toro's dividend track record and diversified end markets - turf care, snow removal, and now a stabilizing residential arm - has earned some benefit of the doubt on execution. So what for long-term investors: Toro isn't a moonshot, but it's a useful case study in why patient capital gets rewarded - a steady dividend grower quietly repairing its weakest segment while its stronger one absorbs short-term cost pressure. The number worth tracking next quarter is whether residential's margin gains hold once the easy year-over-year comparisons disappear. That will separate a genuine turnaround from a one-quarter blip.

The Toro Co reported strong third-quarter results with net sales increasing 8.4% to $1.23 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $1.33. Both the professional and residential segments delivered growth exceeding 8%, whilst the residential segment's adjusted operating margin improved 400 basis points year-over-year to 5.9%. The Grove signs 10 year partnership with Toro and Reesink.

The Grove signs 10 year partnership with Toro and Reesink. The Grove has secured a long-term partnership with Toro and Reesink UK, continuing a 22-year relationship and ushering in a new era of integrated turf management. As part of a significant new 10-year agreement, which strengthens a relationship that has existed since the Hertfordshire resort opened more than two decades ago, The Grove has invested in a full machinery fleet renewal and update alongside the installation of a new irrigation system across the entire course. The Grove's leadership team put the deal out in a competitive tender process involving multiple manufacturers and selected Toro as its strategic partner for another decade. "We've been a loyal Toro customer since the beginning," says Will Evans, Agronomy and Facilities Director at The Grove. "And when Turf Matters reviewed the complete solutions package, it quickly became clear it was again the right fit for Turf Matters, especially with the irrigation system involved, new technologies emerging and the way the machinery and irrigation systems could work seamlessly together. "Partnering with Reesink meant we could manage everything through one provider making the decision even more straightforward." While the deal includes a full machinery fleet update, there is also a heavy investment in a suite of the brand's new digital technologies; all designed to transform turf management through real-time data and precision control. Fleet management and GPS spraying technology, moisture-responsive irrigation and autonomous mowing will work all together to enhance overall efficiency, sustainability, and course conditioning. It is, says Jon Cole, Divisional Business Manager, Reesink Turfcare, an agreement that positions The Grove and Toro at the forefront of innovation in UK golf course management: "By integrating Toro's most advanced software solutions into operations, The Grove is positioning itself as a leader in modern, high-performance turf management," he says. The agreement reinforces The Grove's position as a designated Toro showcase venue, where customers and industry partners can experience the latest innovations in turf machinery, irrigation, and autonomous mowing in a live working environment. Will explains: "We've had a close working relationship with Toro and have supported its presence in the UK market for many years. It's exciting to see emerging technologies and new products demonstrated on our course and play a role in introducing them to UK customers." The transition to a full wall-to-wall irrigation system installation is scheduled and The Grove has already trialled Toro irrigation on reconstructed areas of the course, reporting strong early results. Reesink UK and dealer Oliver Landpower will be supporting the deal with technical assistance, weekly on-site visits, and ongoing training for The Grove's greenkeeping and mechanical teams. "Our relationship with The Grove dates to 2002, before the venue opened, when we supplied its initial fleet of Toro machinery and there have been many milestones in that time," says Glen Giddings from Oliver Landpower. "In 2006, when The Grove hosted the AMEX Championship one of our Master Technicians was on permanent standby, supporting early-morning machinery preparation, re-grinding and technical requirements to ensure tournament-grade performance. Now, we've transitioned from a supplier partnership into a trusted and collaborative relationship." Get all of the big headlines, pictures, opinions and videos on stories that matter to you.
