About the job

Requirements
  • 4-5 years of client-facing experience in legal technology or B2B software as a service, including implementation, onboarding, professional services, delivery, or customer success, and/or significant relevant legal experience.
  • A track record of owning complex or high-value implementations end to end.
  • Fluency with contracts, negotiation positions, approval processes, and commercial workflows, with the confidence to interrogate a customer's process rather than merely record it.
  • Proven judgement in distinguishing a genuine requirement from a product limitation and both from an opportunity to recommend a better approach, while holding that position with a senior stakeholder.
  • Credibility with executive audiences, including General Counsel, Heads of Legal Operations, and procurement leadership.
  • Strong prioritisation across a demanding portfolio, with accuracy maintained under pressure.
  • The ability to coach others and give direct, constructive feedback.
  • Comfort setting direction in ambiguity, for yourself and for others.
  • Experience crafting effective prompts for artificial intelligence systems and the ability to teach prompt use.
Responsibilities
  • Lead implementations for complex, strategically significant, or high-value customers, including multi-jurisdiction rollouts, bespoke requirements, and senior stakeholder scrutiny.
  • Own discovery where scope is broad or contested, converting competing objectives into a sequenced, deliverable plan.
  • Design configurations that hold up at scale, making trade-offs deliberately and explaining them credibly.
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent implementations against agreed timelines, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Act as the point of escalation on delivery risk, arriving with a recommendation rather than only a flag.
  • Lead difficult conversations by resetting expectations, reframing requests that add unnecessary complexity, and recovering implementations that have gone off track.
  • Coach colleagues and review their work against implementation standards, holding the quality bar where it slips.
  • Define and improve the playbooks, configuration standards, and training assets the team relies on.
  • Feed structured, evidenced insight into Product, separating one-off requests from recurring customer needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Qualified lawyer, or in-house legal or legal operations experience.
  • Experience implementing enterprise software within legal, procurement, compliance, or commercial teams.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, legal operations, or legal technology.
  • Experience with multi-region or phased enterprise rollouts, or mentoring others.

Cryptomathic adopts Luminance to broaden access to contract intelligence.

Cryptomathic adopts Luminance to broaden access to contract intelligence. * September 24, 2026 Danish IT security company Cryptomathic has deployed Luminance's Contract Intelligence Platform, aiming to make contractual information more directly accessible across the business and reduce the volume of routine queries handled by its legal, risk & compliance team. Cryptomathic, which serves major financial institutions, manages a large volume of contracts containing technical, commercial and service-level terms. Key information is often spread across master agreements, annexes, schedules and amendments that evolve independently over the course of a customer relationship. Before adopting Luminance, questions relating to renewal dates, invoicing terms, liability positions and customer obligations were typically directed to legal. The company says the platform now enables teams including sales, finance, sales operations and IT to access approved contract information directly, with legal support reserved for more complex issues. According to Cryptomathic, the platform has enabled business users to query its contract repository in natural language and receive evidence-backed responses. The company says it has improved visibility into renewal dates, purchase order terms, invoicing requirements and contractual obligations, while helping to reduce routine legal enquiries. Different teams use the repository for different purposes. IT checks response times and obligations linked to updates and releases; Finance tracks invoicing terms and licence types; Sales Operations monitors renewal dates and purchase order terms; and Legal analyses issues such as liability and indemnification. "Before Luminance, Legal was the single point of contact for anything contract related," said Peter Istrup, general counsel and vice president at Cryptomathic. "Now, business teams can find the answers themselves, and the questions do not have to go through Legal. That has completely changed how my team spends its time."
