What believers are saying

  • Moore took over in February 2025 and is steering Chief toward AI and career-lattice content.
  • Chief's partnerships page, updated August 21 2026, signals monetization beyond subscription revenue.
  • TIME's July 2026 profile keeps Chief visible while women leadership demand stays structurally high.

What critics are saying

  • Employer-paid memberships expose Chief to budget cuts and DEI backlash during 2026 renewals.
  • The executive-women niche caps expansion; four clubhouses cannot justify endless geographic buildout.
  • A failed Moore transition after February 2025 would damage founder-era trust and retention.

What makes Chief unique

  • Chief is still the largest senior-women executive network, with Alison Moore appointed February 2025.
  • Its four U.S. clubhouses give members physical access competitors like LinkedIn never replicate.
  • Chief combines executive coaching, Wharton training, and curated brand partnerships into one membership.
