Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management, insurance, financial, statistical, or actuarial analysis, or risk evaluation.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting financial and statistical information.
  • Knowledge of statistical, probabilistic, and financial models.
  • Knowledge of risk evaluation and quantification.
  • Experience preparing executive reports and analyses to support decision-making.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Analytical, numerical, and synthesis skills.
  • Organization and planning ability.
  • Negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, evaluate scenarios, and propose solutions.
  • Oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the identification, evaluation, and monitoring of risks that may affect business operations and objectives.
  • Analyze financial, statistical, actuarial, and operational information to identify risk scenarios.
  • Evaluate potential impacts and track mitigation strategies and actions.
  • Prepare executive reports, analyses, and presentations to support decision-making.
  • Analyze incidents and claims, identifying causes, impacts, and prevention opportunities.
  • Administer and maintain current documentation related to insurance, claims, and risk management.
  • Coordinate and follow up on relationships with insurers, brokers, and specialized vendors.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Human Resources, and Operations to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in implementing and updating risk management policies, processes, and strategies.
  • Research trends, methodologies, and best practices to strengthen risk management processes.
  • Prepare analyses and information for domestic and international stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between teams and departments.
  • Participate in training and communications initiatives to strengthen the risk management culture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes and use data to make the department's processes more efficient.

Desired Qualifications

  • Studies or certifications in Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial Science, or Insurance.
  • Experience working with insurers and brokers.
  • Experience administering insurance policies and managing claims.
  • Knowledge of Data Management and information analysis.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to information analysis or process automation.
  • Experience in business continuity and contingency plans.
  • Previous experience in multinational companies.
  • Experience in media, entertainment, technology, or services industries.
