About the job

Requirements
  • A track record in customer-back, forward-deployed, or embedded product work, with shipped intelligence, workflow, or platform outcomes in complex customer organizations and clear evidence of what shipped, who used it, and the metric improved. Relevant experience may come from organizations using similar models or strategy/transformation consulting followed by ownership of a shipped customer outcome.
  • Customer judgment at senior levels, including distinguishing stated requests from underlying problems, identifying unstated decision constraints, and building trust to uncover information customers may not share in commercial conversations.
  • Leadership through influence, including leading cross-functional teams without formal authority, elevating standards, and setting the tone in customer environments.
  • Commercial judgment in the field, including translating customer reality into product direction rather than feature requests, making clear prioritization decisions, and identifying whether blockers relate to product, platform, integration, execution, or change management.
  • Technical fluency to direct delivery and engage credibly with engineering and data science teams; understanding of modern AI production patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, agents, tool use, and MCP; and recent experience building or prototyping AI-driven solutions.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity by creating structure, making decisions with incomplete information, and remaining accountable through implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to adapt written and spoken communication to customers, technical stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Alignment with the Data Services Mindset—All Curious, All Lead, All Purposeful—and RELX Leadership Excellence, particularly Prioritize Customers, Deliver Sustainable Performance, and Embrace Curiosity; operating in line with RELX Responsible AI Principles.
Responsibilities
  • Lead two to three active forward-deployed initiatives with named chemicals customers at any one time.
  • Deliver the first working proof of concept to a customer within 60 days of joining.
  • Drive the first paid pilot to go live within one quarter.
  • Own the squad’s discovery and delivery rhythm, ensuring weekly customer engagement.
  • Maintain a live discovery view for every initiative.
  • Act as the taste gate for all outputs, ensuring no product requirements document is created without a working proof of concept.
  • Make decisions to kill, pivot, or promote discovery tracks based on evidence and customer value.
  • Create documented playbooks and enablement materials for Sales and central productisation teams when patterns are validated.
  • Partner closely with an Account Manager, who leads the commercial relationship while this role leads the customer product conversation.
  • Collaborate with the Principal PM, AI Capabilities and digital leadership and teams in ICIS; platform capabilities consumed by the squad originate from that function, while customer patterns and insights generated through this work help shape platform prioritization.
  • Bring the customer perspective into the broader product organization with the credibility and evidence needed to influence decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted voice on platform capabilities and product direction when partnering with Sales in customer engagements.

LexisNexis launches AI-driven Location Intelligence for US home insurers to assess property risk

LexisNexis Risk Solutions has launched Location Intelligence for Home, an AI-driven predictive model for US home insurance carriers to assess property risk. The tool uses neural network modelling and industry-wide claims data to evaluate six perils, including hail, wind and non-weather water damage. Properties with the highest Location Intelligence scores are 20 times more likely to have a claim than those with the lowest scores. The system addresses gaps in traditional assessment methods, particularly important as non-weather water claims represented 24% of all claims in 2025. The solution integrates within LexisNexis Smart Selection, enabling underwriters to apply location-based insights consistently across new business and renewals. The company plans to file the model in various US states for underwriting and rating workflows.
