Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in transportation sales, logistics sales, freight brokerage, business development, or supply chain sales.
  • Proven success generating new business through outbound prospecting and relationship-building.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow a portfolio of shipper accounts across North America.
  • Prospect new business through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build relationships with Transportation Managers, Logistics Managers, Supply Chain Leaders, and Operations decision-makers.
  • Identify customer challenges and develop customized transportation solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through pricing, negotiation, closing, and account growth.
  • Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and service execution.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and accurately manage opportunities within customer relationship management platforms.
  • Grow revenue while creating long-term customer partnerships.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working for a freight brokerage, asset-based carrier, or third-party logistics provider.
  • Existing shipper relationships.
  • Experience selling full truckload, less-than-truckload, dedicated, cross-border, or freight brokerage solutions.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Charger Logistics to deploy Aurora's second-generation driverless trucks on Dallas-Laredo route

Aurora Innovation announced a customer agreement with Charger Logistics to deploy second-generation driverless trucks on the Dallas-Laredo route. Charger Logistics will use Aurora's autonomous driving technology to add capacity and improve utilization on one of its busiest freight corridors. Charger Logistics is an asset-based transportation and logistics company providing truckload, warehousing, and cross-border services across North America. The company handles temperature-controlled food, pharmaceuticals, automotive, retail, and consumer products. Aurora's Vice President of Business Development, Zac Andreoni, said the new driverless truck fleet helps meet demand following last year's launch. Charger Logistics President Andy Khera stated autonomous trucking will enhance capacity, improve asset utilization, and strengthen service reliability for mission-critical freight on US corridors.
