Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • One year of laboratory experience or college-level science courses is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to use a PC or Mac computer and Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create instructional materials, reports, and equipment brochures.
  • Familiarity with the operation of basic laboratory equipment and the ability to troubleshoot minor malfunctions of scientific equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong record-keeping and file-maintenance skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide general operational assistance in the laboratory.
  • Assist with day-to-day laboratory operations.
  • Conduct straightforward experiments.
  • Work on projects under the supervision of the principal investigator.
