Facilities Maintenance Technician
About the job
- At least 1 year of janitorial or custodial experience is required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with others.
- Ability to safely operate facilities-related equipment as needed.
- Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
- Clean and maintain offices, meeting rooms, and employee recreational facilities.
- Clean and maintain tile and concrete flooring, including routine mopping.
- Dust and clean fixtures and furniture as needed.
- Empty wastebaskets and trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Keep areas surrounding entrances and exits clean and free of snow, litter, and debris.
- Replenish restroom supplies, including toilet tissue and soap, as needed.
- Vacuum and maintain carpeted areas and rugs.
- Clean and disinfect restroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, and hand dryers.
- Clean and maintain glass entrance and exit doors.
- Clean and maintain mirrors and other glass surfaces.
- Experience in a production environment is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
