Requirements
  • Be a Materials Engineering graduate or otherwise have studied Materials Engineering, as indicated by the requested transcript and graduate-cohort eligibility.
  • Submit a CV, cover letter, and academic transcript as part of the application process.
  • Complete virtual recorded responses and cognitive games if progressing through the first stage.
  • Participate in a face-to-face interview with the prospective team if successful in the assessment stage.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the assessment, testing, and selection of construction materials for transport infrastructure projects.
  • Support pavement, concrete, asphalt, and geotechnical investigations and analysis.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Work alongside engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Participate in site inspections, fieldwork, and laboratory testing activities.
  • Contribute to the design, construction, and maintenance of roads, rail networks, and bridge infrastructure.
  • Use industry-standard engineering software and digital tools to support project delivery.
  • Develop technical knowledge through exposure to infrastructure projects across Western Australia.
  • Work collaboratively with peers across other disciplines and with clients to share insights, knowledge, and technical capabilities.
