Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • May 2026 Sauce Cashback reported up to 30% higher reorders within weeks.
  • Apple Business Connect rollout began December 2025, improving visibility and direct-order conversion.
  • Flat-fee delivery and customer-data ownership preserve restaurant margins versus 20-30% marketplace commissions.

What critics are saying

  • DoorDash and Uber Eats still own consumer demand, squeezing Sauce's acquisition economics.
  • Sauce depends on restaurant willingness to switch ordering channels; churn kills platform value quickly.
  • If direct-order ROI stalls, Sauce becomes a niche tool, not a category-defining operating system.

What makes Sauce unique

  • Sauce combines first-party ordering, delivery, and retention, unlike single-function restaurant software.
  • Apple Business Connect integration in January 2026 extends discovery-to-order control across Apple apps.
  • Toast POS integration routes Sauce orders directly into restaurant systems, reducing manual entry.

Sauce launches ai-powered cashback feature to boost restaurant reorders by up to 30%.

Sauce launches ai-powered cashback feature to boost restaurant reorders by up to 30%. Sauce introduces Sauce Cashback, an AI-driven loyalty feature that automatically segments customers and personalizes rewards, helping restaurants increase repeat orders and reduce reliance on third-party delivery platforms. Share it with your network and spread the knowledge! Sauce, a leading first-party ordering and retention platform for restaurants, has launched Sauce Cashback, a new AI-powered loyalty feature designed to automatically drive repeat orders. Early beta results show restaurants achieving up to a 30% increase in reorders within weeks of activation, according to a press release. Unlike traditional loyalty programs that rely on static rewards, Sauce Cashback is integrated with Sauce's proprietary AI retention engine. The system automatically segments customers based on behavior, predicts future actions, and triggers personalized re-engagement offers without manual effort from restaurant operators. Customers earn automatic cashback credit on every order placed through a Sauce-powered menu, which can be redeemed as instant discounts on future purchases while continuing to accumulate more credit. "Most loyalty solutions stop at rewards. Sauce is building something fundamentally different - a fully automated retention engine," said Li-ran Navon, Founder and CEO of Sauce. "Cashback is just the entry point. Behind it is AI that understands customer behavior, segments users in real time, and re-engages them automatically." The feature aims to help restaurants shift more orders to direct channels, where they can keep 20 to 30% more revenue per order compared to third-party delivery platforms that charge high commissions. By encouraging repeat business through direct ordering, Sauce Cashback strengthens customer lifetime value and reduces reliance on external marketplaces. Restaurants can configure a custom cashback percentage that applies to every order, tailoring incentives to their goals. Sauce's AI then takes over, segmenting customers and triggering timely offers to maximize retention. The experience is seamless for customers: they place an order by logging in or registering, automatically earn credit, and see it accumulate in their account. Sauce Cashback is part of Sauce's broader AI-powered loyalty and retention suite, designed to go beyond traditional points or discount programs. By combining incentives with real-time personalization and automated engagement, the platform enables restaurants to continuously drive repeat orders through behavior-based rewards. The feature is built in-house and compatible with Sauce tablets, Toast POS, and other integrations, expanding its reach across small and large restaurant partners. Sauce Cashback is now available to all Sauce restaurant partners. Restaurants can activate the feature and set their cashback percentage by contacting their Sauce account manager. Chutzpah Meets Hustle: Israel’S ‘Startup Nation’ Connects With #Miamitech

Israeli startups are expanding to the US through Miami, and Miami companies are leveraging all that Israel’s diverse tech ecosystem has to offer.By Riley KaminerWhen we think about international tech founders, companies, and investors in Miami, Latin America might be the first to come to mind. Maybe Europe. But if we go a bit further to the east, we will find another ecosystem that is ripe for collaboration with #MiamiTech: Israel.Known as the “Startup Nation,” Israel has one of the top five highest concentrations of startups after Silicon Valley. Israeli startups have a major track record of success, particularly in fintech, agtech, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. What are the origins of this success? An inherent risk-taking behavior, an acceptance of failure, and an emphasis on education all play a role, according to Peretz Lavie, a former president of Israel’s Institute of Technology. (Chutzpah, in other words.)Forging an Israeli-Florida tech connectionMiami is poised to create meaningful partnerships with entrepreneurial leaders from the Startup Nation. Of course, this is nothing new – in 2015, a Miami startup delegation visited Israel, the first of a number of annual trips; in 2016, the first Startup Nation Conference featured more than 20 Israeli startups, which sought growth opportunities and investment in the US.But this moment is different
