Think Summit Europe 2026: Marketer x Machine takes london.

Think Summit Europe 2026: Marketer x Machine takes london. Kristina Rivera Associate Director, Event Marketing October 14, 2026 IN A NUTSHELL - Marketer x Machine took center stage, exploring what happens when AI takes on more of the work while marketers stay firmly in control. - Movable Ink unveiled what's next for Programmatic CRM, including MCP and new Ink AI Assistants. - Brands shared what's working right now, with marketers from FDJ UNITED, Sainsbury's, bet365, Tesco, Currys, KPN, Foot Locker, and more taking the stage. - There was plenty to celebrate, from a fireside chat with the Queen of Shops, Mary Portas OBE and the Think Summit Awards to coveted swag, partner activations, and one very fun afterparty. Yesterday, Convene Sancroft in St. Paul's looked a little different. Hundreds of marketers, a lot of magenta, some very coveted swag, and more conversations about AI than Movable Ink could possibly count filled the space for Think Summit Europe 2026. At the center of it all was this year's theme: Marketer x Machine. Movable Ink wanted to get beyond the big promises around AI and talk about what it means for marketers right now: how machines can take on more of the work, when marketers need to stay firmly in the driver's seat, and what brands are learning as they find the right balance between the two. Movable Ink had a lot to talk about. Before the main event. Think Summit officially kicked off on Tuesday, but some of its clients and agency partners joined Movable Ink a day early for Studio Tactics Workshops. Across morning and afternoon sessions, marketers had the chance to build personalized tactics, explore omnichannel and web experiences, and try agentic workflows like Designer Assistant for themselves. Then it was off to The Fable for its Welcome Party, where clients joined Movable Ink for drinks, food, and a chance to catch up before the big day ahead. And because apparently a full day of sessions wasn't enough, a group of ambitious early risers kicked off Tuesday with a 5.5 km Think Summit Run Club along the Thames. Movable Ink had some news to share. Tuesday morning started with a pretty big look at where Programmatic CRM is going next. Movable Ink introduced its new MCP, which connects Movable Ink directly with AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Cursor. That means marketers can ask AI to help with work across campaigns, content, audiences, and performance without manually jumping between systems for every step. Movable Ink also debuted Ink AI Assistants built directly into Movable Ink. They can help marketers dig into campaign performance, establish brand guidelines, develop subject lines, and use conversational prompts to build dynamic content. The common thread across all of it is giving AI more of the execution while marketers stay in charge of the strategy, creative direction, and decisions that need them. Then Movable Ink handed over the mic. Some of the best parts of Think Summit are hearing what marketers are really doing once all of this technology makes it into their hands. FDJ UNITED shared how its team is scaling personalized, always-on communications across brands and markets while protecting the creative thinking behind them. Sainsbury's took Movable Ink inside its AI adoption journey, and bet365 shared the practical ways its team is using personalization to work more efficiently. And that was only part of it. Teams from Tesco, Currys, KPN, Foot Locker, and more took the stage throughout the day to share the work, the results, and, importantly, what they've learned getting there. Meanwhile, between sessions... Think Summit Europe wouldn't be what it is without its incredible partners: Adobe, Attentive, Customer.io, Inbox Monster, Iterable, Jacquard, MoEngage, and Talon.One. Throughout the day, attendees had plenty of opportunities to connect with partner teams around Sancroft, while Talon. One and Inbox Monster took to the stage to share their expertise in sessions of their own. Then there was its infamous Swag Store. Everyone had two tokens to spend and choices from Charlotte Tilbury, adidas, L.L.Bean, Clarins, Currys, and more. Movable Ink is not saying choosing two gifts was the hardest decision anyone made at Think Summit, but it was up there. Mary Portas had the final word. To close out the day, Mary Portas OBE joined its very own Chief Vibes Officer, Rich Crossley, for a fireside chat. Mary has spent her career paying close attention to people: how they shop, what they care about, what they expect from brands, and how those expectations change. Together, Mary and Rich talked about changing consumer behavior, digital transformation, economic pressures, and why businesses need to keep evolving alongside the people they serve. After a day full of AI, automation, and machines, Mary left Movable Ink thinking about the other half of its theme. Technology can give marketers entirely new capabilities. Knowing what to do with them still comes down to understanding people. And the Award goes to... One of the best parts of the day was getting to celebrate the people behind the work Movable Ink has been admiring all year. The Think Summit Awards recognize the marketers and teams finding creative ways to push their programs forward, and Movable Ink were very happy to give this year's winners their flowers. Accelerated Adoption: bet365 & Too Good To Go | Best 1:1 Personalization: Falke | Best Dynamic Duo: Tesco & Adobe | Best Omnichannel Customer Experience: FDJ UNITED | Campaign of the Year: Compare the Market | Icon Award: Alice Davis, Charlotte Tilbury | The AI Innovator: Sainsbury's & Argos | Partner Excellence: Salesforce | Meet the winners and see the work behind their awards. Get the lookbook |. Movable Ink weren't quite done yet. Once the main stage wrapped, the afterparty took over with drinks, music, and everyone getting a chance to catch up without having to race to their next session. And after months spent planning this event, there's something pretty special about standing back and seeing a room full of people still talking, laughing, making introductions, and staying much later than they probably planned. Movable Ink had the best time. Movable Ink hope you did too. Missed something? Think Summit Europe sessions will be available on-demand soon. Related resources. How AI is Redefining Customer Engagement and loyalty: lessons from Adobe and Southwest Airlines.

How AI is Redefining Customer Engagement and loyalty: lessons from Adobe and Southwest Airlines. Rohan Bhatt Senior Product Marketing Manager, Adobe August 6, 2026 IN A NUTSHELL - You have 400 milliseconds to earn a customer's attention. - True 1:1 requires data, orchestration, and content to work as one. - Southwest is turning personalization into stronger email performance. - Adobe and Movable Ink bring it all together in real time. This guest blog post was written by its partners at Adobe. At Movable Ink's Think Summit this year, one number set the tone: 400 milliseconds. That's how long consumers spend deciding whether a brand message is worth their attention before moving on. Factor in the roughly 5,000 messages Movable Ink is each exposed to daily, and the math is unforgiving. You get one moment. Whether it lands depends on how well you actually know the person you're reaching. Adobe returned to Think Summit as the Magenta Sponsor, closing Day 1 on the main stage with their keynote address, "Built for One: How AI is Redefining Customer Engagement & Loyalty." Ryan Fleisch, Senior Director of Product Marketing at Adobe, joined Gaurav Musale, Senior Manager of Digital Activation at Southwest Airlines, to dig into what genuine 1:1 experiences actually require - and what's been in the way. The problem isn't vision. The session made it clear that the gap between what brands want to deliver and what they actually deliver isn't a vision problem. It's a data and infrastructure problem. The global data sphere is projected to grow 147% between 2025 and 2029 (IDC). Human capacity doesn't scale the same way. And consumer expectations - shaped by personalized streaming, social recommendations, and AI chat experiences - have moved the bar. Relevance isn't a differentiator. It's table stakes. Engagement also looks different now. It's increasingly conversational: natural language inputs, unstructured signals, interactions across channels that don't neatly fit into a click or an open. Getting that right requires three things working together, not in sequence - action-ready data, intelligent orchestration, and AI-powered content. Southwest's story. Gaurav opened with a line that stuck: "We're in the customer service business. We just happen to provide airline transportation." 55 years of that belief run through every Southwest touchpoint - and email is where a lot of it comes to life. The results from building personalization into that channel are real. A trending destinations email, personalized to a customer's home airport and travel patterns, drove a 9% lift in click-through rate. A "Year in Review" email built around each customer's history with Southwest - miles flown, rewards earned, favorite destinations - showed what changes when you celebrate the person rather than push the next sale. Same send, completely different experience for each recipient. Gaurav was candid about the gap that's always existed: the vision for true 1:1 personalization has been there for years. The tools to deliver it at scale haven't been. That's what AI is now beginning to close. | Keep the ideas coming. There's plenty more waiting for you in the full Think Summit on-demand library. Start streaming |. Signals, meaning, action. Southwest's approach to closing that gap runs on three capabilities. A real-time customer data platform builds a unified view of each customer - their history, behavior, and signals across channels. A journey orchestration tool takes those signals and determines the right message, channel, and moment to act. And real-time AI personalization renders individualized content at the moment each customer opens the email - not templated in advance, but assembled for that individual, right then. Southwest has partnered with Adobe and Movable Ink to bring that vision to life. Adobe and Movable Ink work together to power in-the-moment personalization, combining unified data and orchestration logic with individualized content at time of send. This partnership is what turns a well-orchestrated journey into something that actually feels personal on the other end. Three questions for your team. Ryan closed with three questions worth bringing back to your organization. * Do you know what your customers intend - or only what they did? * Are your data, orchestration, and content working together, or just in sequence? * And are you building the foundation for what's next while still running what works today? Adobe's approach to customer engagement and loyalty is built around those questions - unifying data, orchestration, and AI-powered content across every channel. The goal: help brands engage every customer like they're your only customer. The brands building that foundation now are the ones that earn it. About Adobe for Customer Engagement & Loyalty. Adobe is the customer engagement and loyalty solution that helps brands engage every customer like they're your only customer. With agentic workflows that orchestrate every touchpoint, Adobe empowers marketers to deliver timely, relevant customer experiences at scale and turn great moments into lasting loyalty.
