Requirements
  • At least 2 years of direct sales or customer service experience.
  • A valid and active real estate license may be required, subject to state requirements.
  • A valid and active driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work weekends, with either Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday off.
  • Ability to work onsite at the model home or mobile office within the community.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in appearance and daily interactions with team members, management, and customers.
  • Ability to support all team members and use a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to maintain an adaptable and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to handle high-volume situations.
  • Work ethic, drive, positive attitude, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain an organized workspace and help keep the office presentable.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted guide throughout the home-buying sales process.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through inbound phone calls by educating interested parties about products, setting appointments, and answering questions professionally.
  • Develop, practice, and deliver sales presentations consistent with company training.
  • Engage new prospects, follow up with interested prospects, and set appointments to close.
  • Respond to customer queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain communication with Starlight Homes team members.
  • Attend, provide updates, and actively participate in scheduled weekly meetings.
  • Communicate with the Sales Manager and present organized information about passive and engaged prospects.
  • Use available resources to transition leads into prospective customers and consistently follow up with customers under contract.
  • Generate referrals by maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Enter leads, appointments, and all communication into Salesforce daily.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with realtors by visiting real estate offices, networking, and conducting business with realtors.
  • Present Starlight Homes knowledgeably and professionally.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the homebuilding process and educate prospects about what to expect.
  • Stay informed about community information and trends, including schools, utilities, taxes, recreational areas, and shopping areas.
  • Understand each client's vision and identify a home that meets their needs.
  • Use training modules to follow Starlight's process and continuously improve sales delivery.
  • Call customers the night before their loan application to ensure they are prepared with necessary documents.
  • Call customers on the night of sale to congratulate them and thank them for choosing Starlight Homes.
  • Call customers under contract at least once a week to maintain customer rapport.
  • Respond to Starlight team phone calls and emails within 24 hours.
  • Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed.
