Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery role supporting software engineering teams in a professional environment.
  • Experience working across multiple sprint teams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or co-managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders, milestone-based tracking, and formal status reporting.
  • Advanced Jira experience, including custom fields, Epic management, JQL queries, dashboard configuration, and data quality management at scale.
  • Active, practical professional experience using AI tools such as generative AI assistants, AI summarization, or AI-assisted drafting.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional release readiness conversations involving Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and User Experience stakeholders.
  • Experience managing cross-team dependencies by tracking, documenting, and proactively surfacing risks with recommended mitigations.
  • Solid command of Scrum and agile ceremonies, with the ability to make them efficient, outcome-oriented, and AI-assisted.
  • Data literacy, including the ability to read and apply delivery metrics such as cycle time, throughput, forecast accuracy, and dependency wait time, and translate them into actionable stakeholder-ready insights.
  • Ability to produce concise, decision-ready stakeholder updates, including AI-assisted drafts, without requiring follow-up clarification.
  • Ability to recognize early warning signals in delivery data, team dynamics, or project status and escalate them with a recommended path forward.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Science, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, including planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives, as well as Software Development Lifecycle phase checkpoints, using approved AI tools for summarization, action-item capture, and discussion preparation.
  • Own cross-team dependency tracking for assigned teams by maintaining a live dependency map, surfacing risks at least one sprint before projected impact with recommended mitigations, and incorporating AI-assisted dependency risk summaries into release discussions and stakeholder updates.
  • Facilitate release-readiness conversations among Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and User Experience before each milestone.
  • Manage discrete projects by defining scope, tracking milestones, managing risks, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and reporting status through standard project lifecycle phases.
  • Own project charters by establishing success criteria and ownership before work begins, facilitating project close-out, and ensuring clean operational handoffs.
  • Maintain accurate Jira data across Epics, initiatives, and sprint work, including owners, statuses, dates, and priorities, within one sprint.
  • Achieve and maintain at least 80% quarterly forecast accuracy for assigned teams, drive priority sequencing, and use delivery metrics to identify and address drag factors.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreement compliance for Production Bug, Accessibility, and Security issues against an at-least-80% target, surface risks, and develop and track improvement plans when targets are missed.
  • Send timely, data-informed stakeholder communications, including end-of-sprint updates within two business days of sprint close and pre-milestone communications containing release-risk and dependency sections.
  • Understand how assigned teams use AI in development work, support AI adoption by removing barriers and sharing effective use cases, and integrate AI-enabled workflows into ceremonies and reporting.
  • Coach Product Owners on backlog refinement, value slicing, and acceptance criteria; partner with Development leads and managers to flag team health or performance concerns; and align sprint goals and project milestones with quarterly scorecard objectives and Objectives and Key Results.

Desired Qualifications

  • ScrumMaster Certification (CSM).
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
