Starting Rate: $19.80



****This role is being hired for our busy season and is expected to go through late October to January and may be extended to March. There is also a possibility to convert this seasonal role into a full time role.

Gear Up is seeking production team members who are eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment to meet production goals while adhering to high-quality standards. Team members will be cross-trained in multiple facets of the production process including pre-production picking & filtering tasks, heat pressing garments, and/or quality checking and shipping orders.

Primary roles include:

•Pre-Production/Filtering – Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.), verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork.

•Pressing – Interpreting order paperwork. Positioning art, names, and numbers on garments. Operating textile heat presses.

•QC/Shipping – Verifying that the finished product matches customer orders, packaging and preparing orders for shipment, and interacting with our shipping software.

•Additional duties as assigned.



Available Shifts:

•Swing: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm (10% shift differential)

• Overtime will be required during peak production seasons, including possible Saturday shifts.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to read and interpret sales orders and other written instructions.

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Energetic and motivated.

• Ability to learn and use computer systems to input and verify the information.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Experience using Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and MRP systems a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to walk throughout production floor

• Ability to reach and grab totes stored overhead

• Ability to see and distinguish colors
