Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or golf-related position is a plus but is not required.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude are required, along with willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods.
  • A valid driver's license is required for operating golf carts.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure golf carts are clean, properly charged, and ready for use before each round; drive carts to staging areas, load them with golf bags, and deliver them to customers.
  • Greet golfers, assist with loading and unloading golf bags, provide directions to the first tee, and address guests' questions or needs.
  • Load, unload, and deliver golfers' bags to designated areas such as carts or the clubhouse.
  • Stock carts with scorecards, tees, pencils, and other necessary equipment; check for safety hazards and keep the cart staging area clean and organized.
  • Perform routine checks on golf carts, including tire pressure, oil levels, and battery charging, and report mechanical issues or damage to the supervisor.
  • Return carts to designated spots, keep the cart staging area orderly, and clean and wash carts as needed.
  • Open and prepare all practice facilities each morning; maintain practice areas throughout the day and keep them stocked, clean, and organized.
  • Support tournaments or group outings by assisting with cart assignments, directing golfers to starting holes, and helping ensure events run smoothly.
  • Help ensure that guests operate carts safely and follow golf-course rules and policies, including speed limits and cart-path usage.
  • Perform additional tasks directed by supervisors, including assisting in the parking lot, managing golf-bag storage, and helping with general course maintenance.

CoralTree Hospitality appoints new CTO. CoralTree Hospitality has appointed Jeff Knowlton as chief technology officer to lead the company's enterprise technology strategy, digital innovation and systems optimization across its portfolio. Knowlton brings more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and technology leadership, digital transformation, guest-facing platform enhancement and operational system modernization to his new role. He will oversee CoralTree's technology roadmap, focusing on improving guest experience, operational efficiency and scalable infrastructure to support the company's expansion. "Jeff's deep expertise at the intersection of hospitality and technology makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team," said Tom Luersen, president of CoralTree Hospitality. "As we continue to grow, his vision and leadership will be instrumental in delivering innovative, seamless, and data-driven guest experiences across our portfolio." Before joining CoralTree Hospitality, Knowlton most recently served as chief information officer at Peregrine Hospitality. Prior to that, he served in the same role at Sonesta Hotels International. Knowlton also held technology roles with the Pursuit Collection, Sage Hospitality and Vail Resorts. "I'm thrilled to join CoralTree Hospitality at such an exciting time in its growth," said Knowlton.
