  • At least 7 years of product management experience, including significant experience with marketplace, platform, or multi-sided products.
  • Experience as a startup founder, founding product manager, or early employee who built 0-to-1 products with limited resources.
  • Experience operating at the Senior, Staff, or Principal level, or functioning at that level regardless of title.
  • A proven ability to ship products that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Passion for wellness, longevity, and preventive health, with current knowledge of functional medicine, longevity research, consumer health, and the practitioner landscape.
  • Strong product judgment and attention to detail.
  • Clear and precise written and verbal communication, including the ability to write product specifications and communicate with engineers.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and at a fast pace without requiring extensive direction.
  • Strong analytical ability, including independently retrieving and analyzing data.
  • High ownership and willingness to handle tasks ranging from writing specifications to responding to user complaints and fixing onboarding communications.
Responsibilities
  • Define the product vision and strategy for the marketplace based on user understanding, competitive analysis, and the business model.
  • Own the marketplace roadmap end to end, including prioritization, sequencing, and decisions about what to build or discontinue.
  • Develop a point of view on the wellness and longevity market and guide product evolution.
  • Identify fast, inexpensive ways to validate core assumptions before significant engineering investment.
  • Design and optimize the consumer journey from discovery through trust, booking, and retention.
  • Design and optimize the practitioner journey from onboarding through activation, growth, and advocacy.
  • Develop frameworks for marketplace health, including supply and demand balance, liquidity metrics, matching quality, and network effects.
  • Develop the cold-start playbook for bootstrapping supply and demand in new verticals and geographies.
  • Build marketplace trust and safety features, including credential verification, reviews, and dispute resolution.
  • Partner with engineering and design to ship continuously, run discovery, write product specifications, and make scope decisions that maintain velocity.
  • Define success metrics, instrument features, run experiments, and discontinue ineffective initiatives.
  • Balance consumer, practitioner, and platform priorities while maintaining a systems-level view.
  • Own marketplace business logic, including pricing models, take rates, subscription tiers, and transaction economics.
  • Partner with growth and marketing on acquisition loops, activation funnels, and retention strategies for both sides of the marketplace.
  • Use data to identify high-leverage opportunities and build instrumentation and dashboards.
  • Use artificial intelligence for research synthesis, specification and strategy drafting, data analysis, visualization, prototyping, and workflow automation.
  • Develop product applications of artificial intelligence, including personalized recommendations, intelligent matching, and automated practitioner tools.
  • Raise the team's artificial intelligence fluency by sharing effective practices and encouraging adoption.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct experience in health, wellness, longevity, or consumer health, including understanding of regulatory, trust, and compliance dynamics.
  • Experience building or scaling a marketplace through cold-start, supply and demand balancing, and network effects.
  • Experience building artificial-intelligence-native products rather than adding artificial intelligence features to existing workflows.
  • Technical depth, including the ability to read code, write Structured Query Language, or prototype with no-code or low-code tools.
