Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in key account management, including building durable relationships with decision-makers and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience or background in strategy consulting, fast-growing startups, or renewable energy companies is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage complex customer setups, take responsibility for outcomes, and deliver efficiently at high quality.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate commercial opportunities through upselling and cross-selling, develop business cases, and negotiate based on value.
  • Demonstrated success in customer retention, account expansion, and customer satisfaction, such as net revenue retention, churn reduction, or portfolio expansion.
  • Analytical ability to derive clear recommendations from data, quantify impact levers, and make well-founded, key performance indicator-based decisions.
  • Native-level German language proficiency.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Lead key existing customers to success through structured onboarding, continuous account development, and account expansion.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level and head-of stakeholders as well as operational stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, prioritize them by business value, and develop clear, convincing business cases.
  • Resolve complex, business-critical issues pragmatically and deliver effective solutions under pressure.
  • Coordinate internal execution across Sales, Product, and Operations, bringing clarity and momentum to delivery.
  • Use Customer Success playbooks and quarterly business reviews, and further develop standards for scalable service excellence.
  • Own commercial responsibility for the portfolio, including customer satisfaction, growth, retention, and measurable contribution to company success.
  • Learn the company's products, processes, and energy market, and take on initial customer accounts during onboarding.
  • Build decision-maker and operational relationships, understand customers' key value drivers, and become familiar with tools, playbooks, and internal processes.
  • Independently manage a growing portfolio from structured onboarding through ongoing account development.
  • Lead initial quarterly business reviews, identify commercial opportunities, and contribute to the development of Customer Success standards.
  • Own a portfolio of existing customers end-to-end, focusing on strategically important accounts and C-level relationships.
  • Deliver measurable results in customer satisfaction, retention, and growth, and improve Customer Success through process improvements and collaboration with Sales, Product, and Operations.
