Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to support mission-specific strength, conditioning, running, lifting, mobility, and field-ready performance training.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing strength coach.
  • Certification as a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
  • Ability to work nonstandard schedules and in field conditions as required.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to travel within the continental United States for meetings, conferences, training, and off-site training support, as required.
Responsibilities
  • Improve Airmen's mission-ready physical and mental performance and reduce preventable injuries.
  • Enhance cognitive resilience, decision-making under stress, and fatigue management.
  • Provide evidence-based holistic performance programs tailored to Contingency Response Wing mission sets, including high-tempo, short-notice deployments.
  • Ensure Airmen possess the strength, endurance, mobility, and durability needed for rapid airbase assessment and opening, heavy load carriage, equipment movements, aircraft handling, security operations in contested or degraded environments, extended operations with limited rest cycles, and high-tempo mobility tasks requiring repeated explosive effort.
  • Provide portable, mission-specific holistic performance guidance to Airmen before deployments so they can maintain performance without contractor presence.
  • Design holistic performance solutions for diverse Air Force Specialty Codes, including mission-specific performance guidance and field-ready sustainment options for each career field.
  • Provide integrated holistic evaluations for Contingency Response Wing Airmen and facilitate timely strength and conditioning, functional strength, and mindfulness coaching.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strength and conditioning programs tailored to Contingency Response Wing mission requirements.
  • Coach Airmen on proper exercise technique, movement patterns, load management, mobility, and injury prevention.
  • Design training programs supporting heavy load carriage, equipment movement, aircraft handling, repeated explosive efforts, and extended operations.
  • Provide portable and field-ready training guidance to support continued performance during deployments and austere operations.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
