Live now: Luma Variants.

Live now: Luma Variants. One approved ad. Every size. Every language. October 1, 2026 The hero is done. The real work starts. Luma has launched Variants. Now any Luma user can upload one approved static ad, pick formats and languages, and Variants builds every version for you. Your logo, headline, and CTA stay intact while the layout and copy adapt to each placement and market. Stop rebuilding by hand. Getting a campaign approved is one milestone. Shipping it everywhere is another. A single ad has to run as a Story, a feed post, a display unit, and a widescreen placement, often in several languages. Today, most teams rebuild each one by hand. That work adds up fast. Every manual rebuild is another chance for a clipped product shot, overflowing copy, a missing logo, or the wrong language going live. Built for teams that ship at scale. Ad Variants is for agency and brand teams who take one approved ad across placements and markets. * Multichannel rollout. Turn one campaign into placement-ready versions for social and display. * Global launches. Translate approved copy for every market while the visual system stays consistent. * The full matrix. Get 1:1 English, 1:1 Spanish, 9:16 English, and 9:16 Spanish from a single master, in one pass. Adapting Approved Ads shouldn't take an army. Here's how Luma Variants works: * Upload your master. Start with one approved static ad. * Pick your formats. Choose from five standard placements: Story 9:16, Portrait 4:5, Square 1:1, Medium Rectangle 6:5, and Widescreen 16:9. * Pick your languages. Select the markets you need. Ad Variants returns a version for every size and language combination. * Check the Preview. See each variant before you commit, and regenerate anything that isn't right. * Ship the Finals. Download them, or export straight to a Luma Canvas board for review with your team. Ad Variants is live today. Inside Luma, open the Discover tab and select the Ad Variants card to get started. This first release covers static ads, resizing, and translation. More is on the way.

AI-generated film Hell Grind cost $500K to make, sparking debate over Hollywood's creative future

AI video startup Higgsfield AI created the 95-minute film Hell Grind in under three weeks with a $500,000 budget, debuting it at Cannes this spring. The company raised $400 million in a Series B round in August at a $5.4 billion valuation, following an $80 million raise eight months earlier. Rival startup Runway raised $315 million in a Series E at a $5.3 billion valuation. The company partnered with Lionsgate and has evolved its technology from restyling existing videos to generating new content from text prompts. Luma secured $900 million in November 2025 from investors including Saudi AI company Humain, Nvidia, and AMD. McKinsey projects AI could influence up to 20% of original content spending on films and TV by 2030. SAG-AFTRA recently ratified a four-year contract with major studios establishing guardrails around AI usage in production.

Luma AI to launch fully Arabic interface for creative platform.

Luma AI to launch fully Arabic interface for creative platform. Arabic will become the first non-English interface available on Luma Agents later this year. Sep 05, 2026 Luma AI will launch a fully native Arabic-language interface for Luma Agents later this year, making Arabic the first non-English interface available on the company's unified AI creative platform. Announced at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, the update will localise the full user experience, including navigation, menus and workflow tools, rather than limiting Arabic support to prompts or generated content. The rollout is aimed at creative professionals in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region, where fully Arabic interfaces remain relatively uncommon across AI generation platforms. Luma AI said the localisation process was shaped by feedback from Saudi creative communities over the past year. The company is positioning the update as a way to let Arabic-speaking users move from initial ideas through to finished creative work without switching between languages. The Arabic interface builds on Luma AI's partnership with HUMAIN and its wider expansion in Saudi Arabia, where the company has established its regional headquarters in Riyadh.
