After a nine-day evidentiary hearing, the court sided with 46 former executives seeking to recover more than US $600 million in deferred compensation and related claims. The Law.com recognition highlighted the Kobre & Kim team's role in securing the result in one of the most significant recent disputes involving intercompany claims, creditor priorities and bankruptcy recoveries. Zachary Rosenbaum to speak at the VALCON 2026 conference.

Zachary Rosenbaum to speak at the VALCON 2026 conference. May 4, 2026 Kobre & Kim's Zachary Rosenbaum will be speaking at the VALCON 2026 conference on the "Valuations in LMEs" panel in New Orleans on Tuesday, May 5, at 11:30 am ET. The conference is co-hosted by the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA). The panel will explore how enterprise value is determined in out-of-court liability management exercises. As these transactions have become more sophisticated, valuation has increasingly been shaped by negotiation leverage, capital structure design, cooperation agreements, and financial engineering tools such as uptiers, dropdowns, and priming transactions. The discussion will provide a framework for assessing whether an LME enhances enterprise value or primarily reallocates value among stakeholders, including the litigation and friction risks that can follow.
