We are looking for an A/B experimentation engineering leader to help design and build the next generation of online evaluation platform. Working at the intersection of data, product, and A/B testing, you’ll drive the culture of experimentation throughout Apple. With your expert technical skills, you’ll set technical strategy for the platform, stay connected to the details, and build the scalable system that drives better features, better software, and better products for billions of customers.
12+ years of experience as a technical engineering leader. Proven experience leading teams that have built and scaled experimentation or A/B testing platforms in a service-oriented architecture. Deep understanding of the statistical foundations of experimentation, including the trade-offs of experiment design. Strong track record of translating ambiguous, long-horizon problems into concrete engineering plans. Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to align diverse stakeholders on shared infrastructure. B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with on-device or embedded system experimentation. Background in modern evaluation systems and programs. Background working with machine learning or AI-driven product teams. Hands-on experience in conducting experiments in the operating system layer.
As a leader and experimentation expert, you will build and execute a multi-year strategy to design and build the best-in-class online experimentation system at Apple. Collaborating closely with partners across the company, you will define the technical vision, grow a high-performing team, and deliver infrastructure that lets scores of teams run rigorous experiments at scale, driving improvements in some of the most used features and software worldwide.
