What believers are saying

  • The 2026 website still sells tees, hoodies, hats, and accessories, signaling active commerce.
  • Made-to-order shipping from a U.S. factory supports inventory discipline and faster assortment testing.
  • Partner campaigns in 2024 and 2026 broaden channels without heavy owned-media spending.

What critics are saying

  • DTC apparel remains crowded; Life is Good's optimism message faces easy imitation.
  • A narrow product loop and partner-driven launches create dependence on licensing and promotional spikes.
  • If consumers tire of the brand's single-note optimism, demand erodes and the franchise weakens.

What makes Life is Good unique

  • Life is Good built a positivity-first brand with 10% profit donations, still live in 2026.
  • The 2026 Kids Design-a-Thon reinforces community-led storytelling and keeps the mascot brand relevant.
  • Collabs with Red Cross, Martin Guitar, and KFC extend reach beyond basic apparel.

Posted Sunday, March 29, 2026 11:26 am Staff Reports The American Red Cross is hosting several blood donation opportunities across northern Missouri from March 30 through April 12. Donors who participate during this window will receive an exclusive Red Cross x Life is Good T-shirt while supplies last. In Adair County, donors can visit Preferred Family Health Care at 900 E. LaHarpe in Kirksville on April 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or Cornerstone Church at 1702 N. Elson on April 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Macon County will host a drive on March 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Missouri Department of Transportation, 26826 N. Hwy 63 in Macon. In Schuyler County, donors can visit Schuyler R-1 High School at 1170 U.S. Highway 63 in Queen City on April 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Scotland County Hospital will also host a drive in Parking Lot B at 450 E. Sigler St. in Memphis on April 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Red Cross has partnered with the positive lifestyle brand Life is Good to encourage donations as spring activities begin to ramp up. Officials noted that while spring break plans and outdoor activities often keep people busy, the need for blood products remains constant. Paul Sullivan, senior vice president of donor services for the Red Cross, said it is critical for donors to make and keep appointments to ensure the blood supply remains stable despite seasonal disruptions. Linne Kimball, vice president of strategic partnerships for Life is Good, added that the collaboration aims to show that one simple act can make a real difference. To donate, individuals must bring a blood donor card, driver's license, or two other forms of identification at check-in. Most donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in generally good health. High school students and donors 18 and younger must also meet specific height and weight requirements. Appointments can be made by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS, or using the Red Cross Blood Donor App. Donors can also save time by using RapidPass to complete their pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online the day of their appointment.
