What believers are saying

  • August 2026 TREO launch delivered four-to-five weekly hours back to each employee.
  • September 4, 2026 ranking named D.Law Los Angeles County's fastest-growing law firm.
  • NextGen Academy and the 2025 high-school internship program deepen a homegrown attorney pipeline.

What critics are saying

  • TREO stores deadlines and evidence; a breach or outage would expose cases and invite sanctions.

  • Founder Emil Davtyan frames D.Law as a technology company practicing employment law.
  • Its 16 California offices and 2026 Fastest-Growing Law Firm ranking signal scale and recruiting pull.

California law firm D.Law launches TREO, litigation operating system built in-house with 100% staff adoption

D.Law, a California employment law firm, has introduced TREO, a litigation operating system built entirely in-house by its technology team. The system, which stands for Time, Records, Evidence, Outcomes, is designed to manage deadlines, documents, evidence, and case analytics in a unified platform. The firm reports 100% staff adoption across its 200-plus employees, including attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. According to D.Law, each user recovers four to five hours per week using the system. "We built TREO because we needed it," said Emil Davtyan, D.Law founder. "We think of ourselves as a technology company that practices employment law." The system was developed under Chief Technology Officer Valeri Tavadyan.
