About the job

Requirements
  • Eight to twelve years of experience in consumer packaged goods, brand-side marketing, agency, or commerce partnerships, with real ownership of growth strategy on major accounts.
  • Ability to describe buying groups, including who wanted the opportunity, funded it, could have stopped it, and how each stakeholder was addressed.
  • Relationships at the vice president and category-leadership level that resulted in a multi-year partnership.
  • Confidence handling commercial conversations involving scope, pricing, terms, procurement, and large multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Ability to sell collaboratively with a Solutions Architect, strategist, and operations team.
  • Experience developing other commercial people, formally or informally.
Responsibilities
  • Decide where each portfolio account should grow next based on the opportunity and relationship.
  • Lead accounts through the full arc from a first program into partnerships spanning brand, shopper, digital, and trade.
  • Work each account against the client’s planning calendar so the company is included before budgets are locked.
  • Build account plans that are clear enough for the broader team to learn from.
  • Maintain senior relationships with brand and category leadership, vice presidents of marketing, and enduring stakeholders.
  • Build broad and deep relationships across shopper, e-commerce, trade, procurement, finance, and agencies.
  • Advise clients on brand and category strategy.
  • Lead negotiations and close flagship portfolio opportunities with a Solutions Architect supporting solution design.
  • Equip internal champions with proof they can use with stakeholders.
  • Navigate procurement, legal, and multi-stakeholder approval processes while preserving the relationship.
  • Coach Partnership Managers who are developing toward portfolio ownership.
  • Turn account learnings into playbooks for the broader team.

About the company

Ripple Street creates a platform that helps brands run word-of-mouth campaigns by connecting them with consumers who are willing to host house parties, try full-sized products, and share their experiences. How it works: brands access Ripple Street to recruit hosts and audiences, coordinate events, and distribute products for trial. The hosts run real-world events where attendees sample items and provide feedback, which Ripple Street collects to generate insights and authentic consumer impressions. Revenue comes from brands paying for platform access and the ability to reach targeted audiences through these hosted events. Ripple Street differentiates itself by focusing on experiential, in-person product discovery and feedback rather than traditional advertising, leveraging social experiences and peer recommendations to drive engagement. The company's goal is to help brands build word-of-mouth buzz and gain practical consumer insights from real-world trials.
