GovWell provides cloud-based software-as-a-service for local governments, offering a suite of integrated modules that streamline core processes such as Building and Codes, Planning and Zoning, Code Enforcement, Licenses and Permits, and Public Works. The platform automates workflows, digitizes paper-based tasks, and makes it easier for residents to access services. It differs from competitors by focusing exclusively on municipalities, delivering an end-to-end set of modules within one system, and pricing based on jurisdiction size with a minimum of $5,000 per year. Since launching in 2023, GovWell has grown to serve 12 states with about 400,000 residents and has raised funding from investors like Work Bench and Bienville Capital. The company's goal is to improve government efficiency and service delivery, helping communities become safer and more vibrant through digital transformation.
