SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The main purpose of the role will be to drive sustainable and profitable growth by managing defined customer groups through a focused, customer-centric sales approach. The candidate will build strong long-term customer relationships, grow market share, and ensure consistent execution of Jotun’s value proposition across key segments.

Responsibilities:

Build and manage end‑to‑end relationships with the assigned customer group to drive growth and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
Execute national business plans to achieve revenue, growth KPIs, and increased market share through strategic market mapping and insights.
Deliver gross margin and profit targets by developing effective product strategies tailored to the customer portfolio.
Develop and implement premium/ultra‑premium strategies, using clear selection criteria and performance measures to build a strong and reliable network.
Oversee implementation of action plans, ensuring protective coatings objectives, customer expectations, project follow‑up, Key Account management, and Days Sales Outstanding improvements are achieved.

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
3+ years of experience in Key Account Management.
Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans.

MSC, Jotun sign hull cleaning agreement. August 12, 2026 Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Jotun have entered into an agreement for the installation and operation of Jotun's Hull Skating Solutions (HSS) onboard MSC Daniela. The agreement includes the full HSS package, combining Jotun's SeaQuantum Skate coating with robotic hull inspection and cleaning technology designed to maintain an always clean hull throughout vessel operations. The installation was completed during the vessel's drydocking in China in June 2026. By maintaining a continuously clean hull, HSS supports vessel efficiency while helping preserve fuel, cut carbon emissions as well as limiting transfer of species from one harbor to the next. Jotun's Hull Skating Solutions combines advanced antifouling technology with proactive robotic inspection and cleaning. The company recently received independent verification from DNV, verifying an always clean hull for vessels using HSs, with no measurable speed loss.

Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) has signed an agreement with Jotun to implement Hull Skating Solution (HSS), becoming the first cruise operator to use this robotic proactive hull cleaning technology. With this commitment, Carnival continues to utilise innovation and technology to reduce emissions and protect biodiversity. As one of the world's largest and most influential cruise brands, Carnival's adoption of HSS to its vessel Carnival Pride marks an important shift for the wider industry. The technology enables proactive hull cleaning, ensuring vessels maintain an always clean hull across typical cruise operations. This proactive approach also reduces fuel consumption, cuts carbon emissions, and protects biodiversity. "Maintaining a clean hull is essential for efficient ship operations, and the Hull Skating Solutions allows us to take a more proactive approach to hull maintenance," said Jari Oinas, AVP of fuel performance and decarbonization at Carnival Cruise Line. "As we evaluate the technology aboard Carnival Pride, we see strong potential to support ship performance while advancing our long-term sustainability goals." Carnival's move is the first introduction of the Jotun's, the global leader of marine coatings, robotic hull cleaning solution in the cruise sector. July 31, 2026 Technical Seminar 2026, jointly organized by Jotun and ZETAŞ YAPI, was successfully held at Radisson Hotel Baku, bringing together professionals from the EPC, Oil & Gas, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and HSE sectors. Throughout the day, participants explored the latest technologies, international standards, and practical engineering solutions in the fields of protective coatings and passive fire protection. The seminar was officially opened by Ramil Zeynalsoy, Co-FounderBusiness Development Executive at ZETAŞ, who welcomed the participants, introduced the seminar agenda, and presented the speakers before moderating the event throughout the day. The first technical sessions were delivered by Ufuk Erkmen, Export Sales Manager - Marine & Protective at Jotun, who shared his international expertise on Passive Fire Protection Systems (SteelMaster) and Corrosion Protection Solutions, highlighting global standards, industry best practices, and practical applications for industrial projects.
