Requirements
  • A minimum of fifteen hours of weekday availability per week (Monday to Friday).
  • Ability to coach a minimum of six classes, approximately nine hours per week.
  • One full weekend day per week.
  • Ability to coach a minimum of three holidays per year: One summer (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day); One winter (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day); One pre/post (Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve).
  • Comfortable on a microphone leading a fast-paced class with loud music and a lot of energy in the room

  • Participating in team meetings and events
  • Learning new techniques and best practices from the coach and Studio Manager community
  • Interacting and forming relationships with clients and the fitness community
  • Embodying the [solidcore] brand and culture
  • Creating a fitness space that is welcoming and inclusive of all backgrounds and abilities
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior group fitness experience is a plus but not required

Solidcore delivers high-intensity, low-impact resistance training through 50-minute classes built on slow, deliberate movements that target the core. The workouts use controlled tempo with resistance to maximize muscle engagement while minimizing injury risk, available in both studios and online. Revenue comes from class bookings, memberships, corporate packages, merchandise, gift cards, and referrals. The goal is to provide an effective core-strengthening workout with flexible access and diversified revenue streams that serve individuals and organizations.

Solidcore opens first Alabama location at The Summit. Solidcore, a national Pilates brand based in Virginia, has opened its first Alabama location at 333 Summit Blvd., near REI at The Summit in Birmingham. The studio offers 50-minute, high-intensity, low-impact workouts using resistance-based reformers, with routines set to intense music and blue neon lighting.
