MIFCOM and CORSAIR are transferring the SHUGO design to the entire gaming PC.

MIFCOM and CORSAIR are transferring the SHUGO design to the entire gaming PC. October 7, 2026 MIFCOM is expanding its portfolio of exclusive gaming PCs with a special design highlight: In cooperation with CORSAIR, the Munich-based system integrator is bringing the new SHUGO DDR5 memory to specially designed complete systems. To match the striking look of the memory modules, MIFCOM has also customized the case design. MIFCOM is the exclusive partner for SHUGO-designed systems in the area of system integration. Mehr entdecken Tech-News lesen Luftreinigung Luftfilter wählen "SHUGO" means "protector" or "guardian" in Japanese. MIFCOM adopts the distinctive design language of the CORSAIR DDR5 series and continues it in its individually designed gaming PC. With SHUGO, CORSAIR has developed a new DDR5 series that prioritizes both performance and design. These limited-edition memory modules combine hand-selected DDR5 ICs and CORSAIR's DHX cooling technology with intricately designed aluminum heat spreaders. A special lighting technique allows the RGB illumination to shine directly through the design via fine micro-drillings, transforming the memory itself into a visible design element within the PC. MIFCOM takes precisely this approach further: Matching the SHUGO design, the Munich-based system integrator also customized the housing. This results in a visually cohesive overall concept from the exceptional individual component. "SHUGO beautifully demonstrates that high-end hardware today is not solely defined by technical specifications. CORSAIR makes the RAM itself a design element. We consistently pursue this same idea with our Custom Labs. Instead of simply installing an exceptional component into a system, we adopt its design language and apply it to the entire PC. This results in a system that is technically and visually seamless." says Marco Plitsch, Chief Marketing Officer at MIFCOM. MIFCOM already offers gaming PCs with its "Powered by iCUE" systems, featuring perfectly matched CORSAIR components and individually controllable RGB lighting. With SHUGO, the overall PC design now takes center stage even more. At the same time, the cooperation builds on the approach of MIFCOM Custom Labs. With its customization service, MIFCOM creates individual PC designs and special orders - from custom case printing and logo applications to individual fan grills and tailor-made cooling solutions. The systems are manufactured by MIFCOM experts in Munich and complemented by comprehensive warranty and service offerings. LIAN LI Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2: power supplies with GPU cable monitoring.

LIAN LI Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2: power supplies with GPU cable monitoring. Philipp Briel 05. October 2026 · 6 min. read LIAN LI has introduced two new power supply series, the Edge Platinum V2 and the Edge Gold V2, which are available now. The Gold V2 models start at 99.99 euros, while the Platinum V2 series starts at 164.99 euros. New to the lineup: the optional Edge Hub ADV, the first USB hub of its kind to measure temperature directly at the GPU power connectors and automatically shut down in case of overheating. Key points at a glance. * The Edge Gold V2 (850 W, 1,000 W) and Edge Platinum V2 (1,000 W, 1,200 W, 1,350 W) are available now, with prices ranging from 99.99 to 259.99 euros. * Both series feature an L-shaped housing for dual-chamber designs, with the connectors facing outward on the side. * The Edge Hub ADV (included only with the 1,350-W model; otherwise available separately for 39.99 euros) measures the temperature on up to two 12V 2x6 GPU cables and automatically shuts down in the event of prolonged overheating. * The Edge Hub V2 and Edge Hub ADV also feature four USB 2.0 ports and six PWM fan headers, controlled via L-Connect 3. * All models are 80 PLUS, Cybenetics, and PPLP certified, and the power supplies come with a 10-year warranty. L-Shaped design for dual-chamber cases. Both the Edge Gold V2 and Edge Platinum V2 feature an L-shaped chassis designed for dual-chamber cases. Thanks to the offset shape, the connectors face outward, so cables are less likely to run through the main chamber where the graphics card is located. The dimensions are identical across all performance tiers: 182 x 86 x 150 mm. Those without a dual-chamber case will hardly benefit from this form factor, but clean cable management remains a plus even in traditional tower cases. Edge Hub ADV: GPU cable monitoring as a new safety feature. The real innovation lies in the accessories. The Edge Hub V2, which comes with the 1,000- and 1,200-watt models, bundles six individually controllable PWM fan channels and four USB ports via two 1-to-4 hub chips connected in parallel. L-Connect 3 displays in real time how much of the USB bandwidth is being utilized, which, according to LIAN LI, is intended to prevent screen freezes or signal dropouts when connected LCD fans, AIO displays, or streaming strips are in use. The 1,350-watt model, on the other hand, comes with the Edge Hub ADV. It offers the same USB and fan connection capabilities but also measures temperature via NTC sensors on up to two 12V 2x6 GPU connectors as well as within the hub itself. A 32-bit ARM microcontroller evaluates the data and sends alerts via L-Connect 3 or by email if no one is currently using the computer. If the temperature remains above the threshold for 15 minutes, the system automatically shuts down. This isn't a new issue: Ever since the first 12V-2x6 and 12VHPWR connectors melted under load, more and more manufacturers have been retrofitting protection mechanisms. With the RM850e and RM1000e, Corsair has introduced a ThermalPROTECT cable that cuts off power immediately at 65 °C, Thermal Grizzly and Noctua sell the WireView Pro II Noctua Edition, a retrofittable connector monitor that even measures each individual contact pin separately. LIAN LI is pursuing the same concept with the Edge Hub ADV, but integrates the monitoring directly into the power supply's peripherals instead of selling a separate accessory. The Edge Gold V2 comes with flat, braided-look cables, while the Edge Platinum V2 features individually shielded cables with pre-installed cable combs on the 20+4-pin and 12V 2x6 connectors. The latter also features a two-tone housing that indicates whether the connector is fully engaged - a detail that certainly can't hurt, given the melting incidents of recent years. The 1,350-watt model also includes a shortened cable set for Back-Connect motherboards and Strimer cabling, including a dedicated 12V-2x6 cable with a GPU-side temperature sensor for the Edge Hub ADV. For maintenance, both series come with a magnetic, removable dust filter. The Platinum V2 adds a reminder function: After 360 hours of fan operation, an internal LED turns red to remind you to clean the filter. Prices and Specifications. | Model | Performance | Stroke | MSRP | | Edge Gold V2 (Black only) | 850 W | - | €99.99 | | Edge Gold V2 | 1,000 W | Edge Hub V2 | €139.99 | | Edge Platinum V2 | 1,000 W | Edge Hub V2 | €164.99 | | Edge Platinum V2 | 1,200 W | Edge Hub V2 | €179.99 | | Edge Platinum V2 | 1,350 W | Edge Hub ADV | €259.99 | | Edge Hub V2 (single) | - | - | €21.99 | | Edge Hub ADV (single) | - | - | €39.99 | | Specifications | Edge Gold V2 850 W | Edge Platinum V2 1,350 W | | Certification | 80 PLUS Gold, Cybenetics Gold, PPLP Gold | 80 PLUS Platinum, Cybenetics Platinum, PPLP Platinum | | Form Factor | ATX 3.1, fully modular | ATX 3.1, fully modular | | 12V output | 850 W | 1,350 W | | Fan | 120 mm FDB, 2,000 RPM | 120 mm FDB, 2,400 RPM | | Warranty | 10 years | 10 years | Frequently asked questions about LIAN LI Edge V2 power supplies. What is the difference between the Edge Hub V2 and the Edge Hub ADV? Both offer four USB 2.0 ports and six PWM fan connectors. Only the Edge Hub ADV additionally measures the temperature at the GPU power cables and can automatically shut down the system in case of overheating. Is the Edge Hub ADV also available separately? Yes, for 39.99 euros, regardless of the power supply. LIAN LI states that it is compatible with any ATX 3.1 power supply. Do the Edge V2 power supplies fit in any PC case? The L-shaped design is specifically engineered for dual-chamber cases. While the power supplies can usually still be installed in classic single-chamber towers, this largely negates the advantage in terms of cable management. How much does the most affordable Edge V2 model cost? The Edge Gold V2 with 850 watts starts at 99.99 euros, though it does not include a hub and is only available in black. Context. It makes sense for LIAN LI to integrate temperature monitoring directly into the hub: If you're already installing an accessory for USB and fan connections, you might as well house the sensors for the critical GPU connectors there as well. Whether this solution works as reliably in practice as separate products from Corsair or Thermal Grizzly remains to be seen in tests - particularly regarding how reliably email notifications will still be delivered on a system that's already overloaded. One positive aspect is that the hub can still be retrofitted individually and isn't tied to a specific power supply. In terms of price, LIAN LI has also significantly lowered the cost with the V2 generation: The first Edge generation started at around $190 for the 1,000-watt Platinum model, while the V2 version costs less - at 164.99 euros - despite the additional hub technology.

Corsair iCUE Apps brings Fanatec into one unified hardware ecosystem.

Corsair iCUE Apps brings Fanatec into one unified hardware ecosystem. October 3, 2026 Simracing latest videos. Corsair is bringing Fanatec deeper into its wider hardware ecosystem with the new iCUE Apps platform. The software, now available as an open beta, is designed to bring Corsair, Elgato, SCUF Gaming and Fanatec devices together under a single modular platform, potentially simplifying how increasingly complex sim racing setups are managed on PC. Corsair introduced the public beta on September 22, 2026 as the first stage of a broader rollout scheduled to culminate in a full ecosystem launch in 2027. Rather than being another update to the existing iCUE 5 software, iCUE Apps has been rebuilt around a new lightweight and modular architecture. For sim racers, Fanatec's inclusion is particularly notable. Since Corsair acquired Fanatec, the brand has steadily become more closely connected with Corsair's wider gaming ecosystem, and iCUE Apps now provides the clearest indication yet of how that integration could work at software level. Fanatec joins Corsair, Elgato and SCUF in one platform. Corsair describes iCUE Apps as a unified platform capable of bringing hardware from Corsair, Elgato, SCUF Gaming and Fanatec into a single connected ecosystem. Its Device Manager is responsible for detecting compatible devices, handling updates and maintaining communication across supported hardware. The idea is to move away from one large software package containing every possible feature. Instead, users install a lightweight core and then add individual applications for the features they actually use, such as monitoring, RGB lighting or other device-specific functionality. Corsair says connected hardware can be detected, configured and managed from the same platform, while a unified account provides access to software, services, stores, updates and support resources across its different brands. This could become particularly useful for sim racing setups that already mix products from multiple Corsair-owned companies. A rig could, for example, include Fanatec controls alongside an Elgato Stream Deck and Corsair PC hardware without each product necessarily existing inside a completely separate software environment. iCUE Apps does not replace the Fanatec App yet. There is an important distinction for existing Fanatec users. Although Corsair presents Fanatec as part of the new iCUE Apps ecosystem, the current Fanatec App remains the primary software for Fanatec racing hardware. Fanatec currently describes its own application as the central tool for controlling its equipment, including input testing, performance tuning, telemetry display configuration, RGB profiles, game integration and firmware updates. The company also states that the Fanatec App is required on Windows to install the latest firmware for its hardware. The older Fanatec Control Panel and FanaLab have meanwhile moved into legacy status and are no longer under active development. Their functionality has increasingly been consolidated into the newer Fanatec App, which continues to receive updates and fixes in 2026. This means iCUE Apps should currently be viewed as the beginning of a wider ecosystem integration rather than an immediate replacement for Fanatec's dedicated software. Corsair itself warns that some devices and features are not yet fully supported during the beta phase. A modular replacement for traditional iCUE. The architecture behind iCUE Apps is also substantially different from iCUE 5. Existing iCUE combines device configuration, lighting systems and background services inside a single package, while the new platform separates those functions into individual applications. Corsair says this approach can reduce unnecessary background resource usage because users only install the modules they need. Each application can also follow its own update schedule rather than requiring the complete software suite to be replaced whenever one component changes. Existing iCUE 5 users are not required to move immediately. Corsair allows both iCUE 5 and iCUE Apps to be installed on the same Windows PC, although they cannot run simultaneously because both applications communicate directly with USB hardware and system sensors. Software-based iCUE profiles also do not transfer directly to the new architecture. Profiles stored in onboard device memory remain intact, but users testing the beta will need to recreate some software preferences inside iCUE Apps. Stream Deck integration could be especially useful for sim racing. One of the more interesting implications for sim racers comes from Elgato. Stream Deck, Wave Link and other applications can be installed directly through the iCUE Apps catalog, while Corsair is also integrating Elgato Marketplace content into the broader platform. Fanatec already offers an official Stream Deck plugin capable of controlling its Tuning Menu and displaying live telemetry information while driving. Bringing Elgato and Fanatec closer together inside the same ecosystem creates obvious possibilities for future integrations between wheelbases, displays, button boxes and telemetry tools. Corsair has not announced specific new sim racing features for iCUE Apps yet, so functionality such as automatic profiles between Fanatec hardware and Stream Deck should not be assumed. However, having both product families managed within the same wider software ecosystem makes deeper integration considerably more plausible than before. Corsair's sim racing ecosystem keeps expanding. The software move also fits a broader strategy around sim racing hardware. Fanatec became a fully integrated part of Corsair's family of brands following its acquisition, while Corsair has continued investing in Fanatec products, software development and customer support. Fanatec has already transitioned towards its new application, introduced new Direct Drive hardware and expanded platform functionality during 2026. The arrival of iCUE Apps adds another layer by connecting the sim racing brand with Corsair's larger ecosystem rather than treating Fanatec as an isolated hardware division. For now, users should continue relying on the Fanatec App for full wheelbase, steering wheel and pedal configuration. But iCUE Apps provides a clear look at Corsair's longer-term direction: one modular software platform connecting gaming peripherals, streaming equipment, PC hardware and sim racing devices. Corsair says the current open beta is only the first phase, with additional devices, applications and functionality scheduled to arrive before the complete ecosystem launch in 2027. More information and the beta download are available through the official Corsair iCUE Apps page, while current Fanatec software can be found through the official Fanatec downloads page. CORSAIR deploys the WARTHOG airflow mid-tower PC case for standout builds.

CORSAIR deploys the WARTHOG airflow mid-tower PC case for standout builds. 8 Mins Read MILPITAS, CA, September 22, 2026 - CORSAIR(R)(Nasdaq: CRSR) is pleased to announce that the highly anticipated WARTHOG Series cases are now available for pre-order, with shipments beginning within the next four weeks. WARTHOG is also available today at select resellers and as a complete build from select system integrators. This unique ruggedized chassis stole the show when it was unveiled at Computex 2026 and won numerous awards for its eye-catching design, rugged steel construction, and innovative features. Corsair knew the WARTHOG would be a fan favorite because its community helped bring it to life. Over the years, Corsair has received countless requests to reimagine the award-winning 2012 Vengeance C70 for modern PCs. "The C70 has a cult following for a reason, and people have been asking us to bring it back for years. With WARTHOG, we wanted to honor that without just doing a reissue," Principal Product Manager Mitch Podlaha said. "Everything right now is glass panels and RGB everywhere, so we went the other way. Something more industrial, more rugged, but still built to actually perform, not just look good on a desk." WARTHOG is an homage to the C70 and features an all-new design based on the FRAME 4000D chassis, offering an expansive interior with exceptional airflow and easy upgradeability, and is like no other case on the market. UPARMORED DESIGN AND ADVANCED DIY FEATURES The WARTHOG is built like a tank with solid steel panels for incredible rigidity and reliability, and features integrated carry handles connected to the frame for easy transport. Although it shares some design cues and features with the Vengeance C70, it has been rebuilt from the ground up with a host of updates and advanced features for modern PCs. The list of updates is extensive, with highlights including compatibility with reverse-connector motherboards for builds with no visible cables, InfiniRail(TM) Fan Mounting Systems on the front and top for easy installation and custom placement of both 120mm and 140mm fans, RapidRoute 2.0 pegboard motherboard tray for customizable cable management, room for GPUs up to 400mm with a built-in GPU Anti-sag Stabilization Arm, and illumination for the rear I/O panel, activated by a switch on the front I/O, that lets you easily connect cables to the motherboard in a dimly-lit space. PICK YOUR COLOR, AND YOUR COOLING WARTHOG comes in two colors and two versions to suit your next build. Both WARTHOG and WARTHOG RS are offered in either Black or Olive Drab colorways, with the standard WARTHOG shipping without any fans while the WARTHOG RS includes fans (details below). Both versions provide excellent cooling as the chassis was designed to prioritize abundant airflow and cooling upgrades. It features a perforated 3D-Y fan grill in the front and top for a low-restriction airflow path, sports three mounting locations for a 360mm radiator, and includes fan mounts for 13x 120mm or 7x 140mm fans. The standard WARTHOG does not include fans, so you can personalize your cooling setup. Alternatively, the WARTHOG RS provides excellent cooling right out of the box with enormous 200mm intake fans and an RS120 exhaust fan for an easier build process with powerful, low-noise cooling. The WARTHOG RS can be further outfitted with an additional 9x 120mm fans (3x on the side, 3x on the top, and 3x on the PSU shroud/bottom) or 5x 140mm fans (2x on the side, 2x on the top, and 1x in the rear). On the WARTHOG RS, the RS200 intake fans provide effective airflow at low RPM for great cooling with minimal noise and feature a Magnetic Dome Bearing for quiet operation, AirGuide technology for focused cooling, and they connect to the motherboard for easy setup and fan control. An RS120 fan is pre-installed in the rear to exhaust warm air out of the chassis, and it offers the same advanced features as the RS200 fans to provide effective airflow into and out of the chassis for reliably low temperatures, even with the most power-hungry hardware. READY FOR TAKEOFF One of the most unique features on the WARTHOG is the fighter jet-style switches on the front panel next to the I/O ports. This callback to the C70 includes metal bollards to prevent accidental activation of the power, reset, and light buttons, so they provide a useful function while adding some military panache to your build. The "REMOVE BEFORE BUILD" tag bolsters the fighter jet theme while also protecting the super-fast USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, for transfer rates up to 20Gb/s. There are also 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB Type-A ports for wide compatibility and a headphone/microphone jack. iCUE LINK INTEGRATION The WARTHOG is built for iCUE LINK integration, so you can easily connect compatible fans and coolers with a single cable for an ultra-clean build. It features a cut-out pocket on the back of the motherboard tray to hold the magnetic iCUE LINK System Hub for easy connectivity, and you can control both RS PWM and iCUE LINK fans in iCUE software with the COMMANDER DUO Lighting and Fan Controller - ARGB and iCUE LINK Hybrid controller (sold separately). This integration lets you see all connected fans in iCUE and easily control and sync fan speeds and ARGB lighting in a single interface for easy customization and performance monitoring. A LEGEND REBORN The CORSAIR WARTHOG is the culmination of over a decade's worth of requests from loyal customers to remake the Vengeance C70, and its engineering team is proud to deliver a successor that is upgraded in every way with top-tier cooling performance, an expansive interior for easy upgrades, useful DIY features, and a rugged aesthetic that is unique and functional. Whether you're planning your first build or are a system integrator looking for a unique chassis for your clients, the WARTHOG is a flexible foundation for any build. Availability, Warranty and Pricing The CORSAIR WARTHOG is available in Black or Olive Drab. The WARTHOG includes no fans, while the WARTHOG RS includes 2x RS200 and 1x RS120 fans. The CORSAIR WARTHOG is available at select CORSAIR authorized retailers and as a complete system build from select system integrators. The case is also available for pre-order on the CORSAIR webstore. The CORSAIR WARTHOG is backed by a two-year warranty, alongside the CORSAIR worldwide customer service and technical support network.
