About the Company

Booking.com

Online travel agency for accommodations

Booking.com is an online travel marketplace that connects travelers with a wide range of travel services, including hotels, apartments, flights, and car rentals. Users search for destinations, compare options, read reviews, and book accommodations or other travel services all in one place through a single, user-friendly interface. The platform makes money by taking a commission on each booking from properties (typically 15%–25%) and by selling advertising space so listings can gain more visibility. What sets Booking.com apart is its large global inventory and centralized experience, making it easy for travelers to plan and complete trips in one place while giving partners access to a broad customer base. The company’s goal is to simplify travel planning at a global scale by offering a comprehensive, convenient platform that helps both travelers and travel providers connect efficiently and reliably.
