Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, digital media, or a related field.
  • One to three years of marketing experience.
  • Prior experience or an internship in an advertising agency, media company, or in-house digital marketing team.
  • Strong understanding of pay-per-click advertising tools and campaign management, including campaign structure, creative specifications, and trafficking workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, including the ability to navigate the platform and interpret standard performance metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing creative assets for specification compliance and quality-assuring live campaigns.
  • Clear, professional written communication skills and comfort corresponding directly with external agency contacts.
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects and deadlines without losing track of details.
  • Familiarity with a web content management system such as Drupal.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute the university's digital workflows across owned and paid channels.
  • Partner with project management, internal creative, web production, content, and external advertising agency and platform vendor teams to produce, review, and deliver digital assets accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain and organize project tracking in Basecamp for digital projects and programs.
  • Monitor timelines, meeting schedules, and communication flows for digital projects.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for workflow-related questions from internal team members and external vendors.
  • Coordinate digital asset deliverables, including digital advertising assets and website copy updates, among content creators, stakeholders, and producers.
  • Partner with the digital agency in managing paid digital campaigns, including search, display, and social advertising, across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor campaign pacing, budgets, and performance against established key performance indicators, and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with agency vendors on campaign execution, asset delivery, and reporting timelines.
  • Compile routine performance reports from Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and platform-native dashboards.
  • Maintain UTM parameter governance across campaigns and apply consistent tracking conventions to outbound links and paid placements.
  • Flag performance trends or anomalies and provide relevant context to the digital strategy team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Google Analytics certification is a plus.
