- A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology is required.
- An active North Carolina Speech Language Pathology License is required.
- An ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence is required.
- Experience with video fluoroscopic studies is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
- Flexibility to travel and float between different sites as needed is required.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations for speech, cognition, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric patients.
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding speech and swallowing disorders.
- Float to acute care and outpatient settings as needed.
- Travel to Hoke, Montgomery, and Richmond Counties as required.
- Experience with FEES and tracheostomies/PMV is preferred.
