Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing or a related field.
  • An active registered nurse (RN) license in good standing without limitations in the State of Georgia.
  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  • At least two years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty.
  • Certification in the American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
  • Functions as a unit-based clinical resource and educator in a leadership role.
  • Provides staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency development, patient education, and quality improvement.
  • Supports established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient and staff education.
  • Serves as a role model for clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
Desired Qualifications
  • An additional life support credential such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP, or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
