Requirements
  • Have 7 or more years of experience in corporate development, hands-on mergers and acquisitions integration, or management consulting with a technology focus.
  • Demonstrate a track record of leading end-to-end mergers and acquisitions integrations across multiple transaction types, including acqui-hires, platform acquisitions, asset purchases, and mergers.
  • Have program management skills to keep complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams on track without direct authority.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with executives, functional partners, and founders, and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Be familiar with data and artificial intelligence tools and interested in building more efficient, instrumented ways of working.
  • Have a background in software, cloud, data, artificial intelligence, or enterprise software as a service, and understand commercial integration activities such as customer transition, contract migration, sales coverage, go-to-market systems, customer success handoff, and field execution.
  • Have experience working alongside or coordinating with go-to-market and sales operations teams on enterprise go-to-market integration activities.
  • Have experience managing or monitoring a portfolio of strategic investments.
Responsibilities
  • Bring an integration and operational lens to diligence by evaluating organizational fit, identifying integration risks, reviewing operational readiness, and flagging issues that may inform deal structure or timing.
  • Coordinate cross-functional diligence workstreams and synthesize findings into clear recommendations for deal leads.
  • Own integration planning and execution for acquisitions from late-stage diligence through steady state, including change management, employee retention planning, and cultural transition; translate the deal thesis into functional plans, owners, milestones, risks, and decision points.
  • Partner with the go-to-market operations team on commercial integration workstreams to align deal intent with field execution.
  • Track integration key performance indicators and synergy realization against the original deal thesis, reporting milestones, progress, risks, blockers, and recommendations to deal sponsors and executive leadership.
  • Run integration retrospectives and incorporate lessons learned into future diligence, term sheet assumptions, and integration planning.
  • Build and maintain corporate development operational infrastructure, including deal pipeline processes, diligence templates, integration playbooks, and data and artificial intelligence tools to improve visibility and execution across transaction types.
  • Apply artificial-intelligence-enabled workflows using Snowflake and artificial intelligence software to standardize and improve integration planning, playbooks, governance cadences, and reusable templates for future transactions.
  • Bridge deal teams and the broader organization during active diligence and integration by managing dependencies, driving decisions, and keeping multi-stakeholder workstreams on track.
  • Help identify opportunities for portfolio companies to deepen product, go-to-market, or ecosystem alignment with Snowflake.
  • Support and manage the Snowflake Ventures portfolio, including quarterly business reviews, coordination with technology alliances on partnership opportunities, accounting and financial reporting oversight, and identifying synergies with Snowflake's product and go-to-market motion.

About the company

Snowflake runs a cloud platform where businesses store and analyze data, build AI tools, and share information under common access controls. Its platform separates stored data from computing resources, letting teams run different workloads without maintaining database servers. Analysts query business records with SQL, while developers use Python and other languages to build applications and train models against the same data; Cortex connects AI models to company records so teams build assistants and automate analysis. Customers pay for storage and computing usage across Amazon, Microsoft, and Google infrastructure. Snowflake was founded in 2012 and has its headquarters in Menlo Park, California.

What believers are saying

  • Growth supports a larger business: Snowflake product revenue rose 37% to $1.49 billion in the July 2026 quarter.
  • Employees buy discounted stock: eligible Snowflake staff pay 15% below the lower starting or ending six-month price.
  • Existing customers spend more: Snowflake reported 126% revenue retention in September 2026, after contractions and lost customers.

What critics are saying

  • Debt has a deadline: Snowflake priced $3.75 billion of notes in September 2026, maturing in 2029 and 2031.
  • Remote work is limited: Snowflake requires most employees to work from physical offices despite its globally distributed branding.
  • Suppliers also compete: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud host Snowflake while selling rival data platforms.

What makes Snowflake unique

  • Different engineering foundations: Snowflake built a cloud-native SQL engine; Databricks extends Spark with proprietary Photon execution.
  • Data sellers keep control: Snowflake Marketplace lets them charge for live tables without distributing copied files.
  • Software vendors enter customers' accounts: Snowflake Native Apps install business logic beside governed data instead of hosting it separately.

Snowflake stock is up 169% in six months, but AI sales cut margins to 74%

Snowflake's stock has returned 169% over the past six months, against 14.0% for the S&P 500. But on its September 2, 2026 earnings call, executives said AI sales earn less than the rest of its products. The company cut its fiscal 2027 adjusted product gross margin forecast to 74% from 75%, citing a growing share of lower-margin AI workloads. Product revenue grew 37% year over year in fiscal Q2 2027, with AI contributing about half of the acceleration. Product revenue makes up 95% of total sales. Snowflake trades at 23.2 times sales, against 3.1 for the S&P 500, and its net margin is negative 20.1%. Management raised its adjusted operating margin forecast to 14.5% from 13.5% and still expects a GAAP profit in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2028.

UiPath and Snowflake launch two-way integration for AI agents with zero-copy data access

UiPath and Snowflake have expanded their partnership with a two-way integration now available on Snowflake Marketplace. The integration allows customers to bring Snowflake data into UiPath automations and trigger those automations directly from Snowflake without copying data between systems. The partnership includes three key components: UiPath Data Fabric, which reads and models data directly from Snowflake without duplication; UiPath Cartographer, offering native Snowflake Cortex connectivity; and Snowflake CoCo integration with UiPath's agentic skills library for executing automation directly from CoCo. The zero-copy integration maintains data governance, including access controls, policies, and auditability, whilst enabling real-time enterprise context flow into the UiPath Platform. This allows organisations to build AI agents and workflows grounded in governed, live data whilst maintaining security boundaries. UiPath is now available on Snowflake Marketplace, simplifying deployment for joint customers.

Snowflake stock surges 115% as AI push drives accelerating revenue growth

Snowflake stock surged 115% in the six months to September 28, 2026, driven by accelerating revenue growth aided by its AI products. Early signs of the rally appeared in November 2024, when management reported remaining performance obligations growing at 55% year-over-year, signalling future revenue acceleration. Revenue growth initially remained modest, ranging between 26% and 30% through fiscal Q4 2026. However, by the time the stock began its run on March 27, 2026, revenue growth was already trending upward in filed results. The company's operating loss also narrowed significantly, from 43% of revenue in fiscal Q1 2026 to 25% by fiscal Q4 2026. This improvement continued as the operating loss shrunk to 23% of revenue over the last twelve months. Snowflake now trades at 21.1 times annual sales, compared to 3.1 times for the S&P 500.

Transcend launches Snowflake Native App to automate data consent and preferences management

Transcend has launched its Consent & Preferences Management solution as a Snowflake Native App on Snowflake Marketplace. The app brings Transcend's consent and preference data directly into customers' Snowflake accounts, automatically converting it into enforceable policy. The integration addresses a common challenge: determining whether customer data can be legally used for specific purposes. The app applies governance controls within Snowflake without requiring custom pipelines or SQL knowledge, enabling teams across marketing, privacy, and data to access one unified answer. The native app transforms consent data into row access policies and safe views, enforced at query time. Data stewards gain real-time visibility into which datasets are governed, with one-click remediation for gaps. TextNow is already using the solution, with Head of Platform and Security Engineering Andrew Cotton noting it reduces implementation time from weeks to hours.
