About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in analytics, finance, revenue operations, marketing analytics, sales analytics, business operations, investment banking, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing analysts or analytics-adjacent teams, while remaining able to review SQL, inspect dashboards, pressure-test assumptions, and frame answers.
  • Expertise in go-to-market analytics, including understanding marketing, sales, customer operations, and revenue motions, and experience with relevant metrics and analytical areas such as funnels, pipeline, bookings or annual recurring revenue, campaign performance, sales productivity, support performance, forecasting, attribution, segmentation, or lifecycle analytics.
  • Ability to translate go-to-market questions into metrics, analytical cuts, cohorts, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong SQL skills, including reading and writing SQL, reasoning about grain and joins, identifying data-quality issues, and coaching analysts toward reliable methods.
  • Comfort with statistics and advanced analytics concepts, including confidence intervals, incrementality, cohorting, regression, forecasting, and experiment readouts; ability to identify when to partner with Data Science for more complex modeling.
  • Ability to operate with urgency and precision, distinguish immediate directional answers from questions requiring deeper follow-up, and maintain analytical quality under short timelines.
  • Ability to establish trusted analytics through review mechanisms, documentation habits, and quality-assurance standards; explain analytical caveats and align stakeholders on source-of-truth metrics.
  • Ability to develop analysts through clear expectations, thoughtful feedback, technical coaching, prioritization, and support for growth through ambiguous requests and automation or self-service opportunities.
  • Active use of modern artificial intelligence tools to accelerate analysis, quality-assure SQL, summarize stakeholder context, produce documentation, and prototype workflows; interest in building governed self-service assets and automated analytics workflows.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across analysts and data engineers, distinguishing stakeholder-facing analytics from data-foundation work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Analytics & Strategy team and manage analysts embedded with Marketing, Sales, and Support/Customer Operations.
  • Build an operating model for intake, prioritization, quality assurance, stakeholder communication, and recurring business reviews.
  • Coach analysts delivering work across funnel reporting, campaign performance, sales analytics, support analytics, forecasting, segmentation, attribution, and executive readouts.
  • Partner with go-to-market leaders to clarify ambiguous questions, identify decisions at stake, and ensure the team's work leads to concrete business action.
  • Review SQL, dashboards, metric definitions, data caveats, and analytical narratives to help the team work quickly while maintaining quality.
  • Serve as the intake point for self-service and artificial-intelligence automation opportunities; identify duplicate requests, distinguish one-off requests from repeatable workflows, and turn recurring patterns into AI primitives, governed dashboards, metric documentation, and model-improvement requests.
  • Apply advanced analytics judgment to experimentation, incrementality, cohort analysis, forecasting, segmentation, and statistical readouts, partnering with Data Science for deeper modeling needs.
  • Use AI tools in personal and team workflows to increase speed while maintaining accuracy, documentation, and governance.
  • Develop analysts through clear expectations, direct feedback, growth paths, and a strong peer-learning culture.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in investment banking, finance, financial planning and analysis, revenue analytics, or another high-intensity analytical environment.
