Full Stack Engineer Intern

Job Description

• Build across the stack: Design, implement, and ship features end-to-end — frontend UI, backend APIs, and the data layer — under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Build AI-natively: Use AI coding agents and assistants as a default part of your workflow — for scaffolding, refactoring, testing, debugging, and reviewing — while staying fully accountable for the correctness, security, and quality of every line you ship.

• Ship production code: Write clean, tested, maintainable code; participate in code reviews; and follow the team's engineering standards for quality, security, and performance.

• Own features from spec to release: Practice spec-driven development — turn requirements from Product and Design into clear, reviewable specs before writing code and support the rollout and monitoring of what you build.

• Debug and improve: Investigate bugs and performance issues across the stack, propose fixes, and contribute to refactoring and technical debt reduction.

• Learn modern engineering practices: Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability tooling, and cloud infrastructure as part of your daily workflow — and help the team discover new ways AI can make these practices faster and more reliable.

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and fellow engineers to turn ideas into features used by millions of Vietnamese people.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Education: Final-year student or fresh graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Fundamentals: Solid grasp of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms; understanding of how the web works (HTTP, REST APIs, client-server architecture) and of relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Fullstack exposure: Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework and one backend language/framework, through coursework, personal projects, open source, or previous internships. You don't need to be an expert in both — you need curiosity and willingness to work on either side.

• AI-native mindset: You already build with AI tools (coding assistants, agents, LLM APIs) and treat them as teammates, not shortcuts — you know how to prompt well, verify outputs critically, and understand where AI accelerates work and where human judgment is non-negotiable. Experience integrating LLMs or AI features into a project is a plus.

• Tooling: Comfortable with Git and the command line; familiarity with testing, containers, or cloud services is a plus.

• Mindset: Agile and adaptable in a fast-moving environment, with a logical, evidence-driven approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of product and user impact.

• Communication: Able to explain technical decisions clearly, ask good questions, and work effectively with both engineering and non-engineering teammates.

• Personal Traits: High sense of ownership, proactive attitude, and excellent self-learning skills.
