Primark's 12 Thongs of Christmas advent calendar will jingle a few bells

Primark's 12 Thongs of Christmas advent calendar will jingle a few bells 8th October 2026 Primark's 12 Thongs of Christmas advent calendar is a surefire way to land yourself on the naughty list this year. For around €18, it's the gift that keeps on giving, and it's not just a gift for yourself; why not play Santa this year and tick yourself off your partner's wishlist? Today's top videos Lauded as the 'advent calendar of dreams', it comprises 12 festive pairs of panties in shades of white, pink, black, and red that'll leave your Dadaí na Nollaig's cheeks rosy red. You'll unwrap 12 days' worth of fun (and counting), with five lace bandeau-style thongs and seven string thongs. There are two stars of the show, in our opinion. The first is a pretty-in-pink string thong with a bow strategically placed on the centre back. A substitute for mistletoe, perhaps? The second is a festive red string thong with pom-poms attached to bows on either hip. Baby, it's cold outside, but it'll be getting heated in the sheets. The 12 Thongs of Christmas advent calendar has launched in Primark stores across the UK, and is expected to drop in Irish stores in the coming days. And there are already a few candy canes raised in anticipation. One excited TikTok user commented: 'It's not a want, it's a need.' Another wrote: 'HAHA genius. I want it,' as someone else penned: 'I will definitely be buying one.' If you ask us, €18 is a total bargain for 12 pairs of panties, especially considering the price tag on SKIMS' 2025 advent calendar was a hefty €566. Also part of Primark's 2026 Christmas offering is the Christmas Santa Babydoll and Thong Lingerie Set (€16), which is sure to jingle a few bells this festive period. Primark sets aside space for breastfeeding in German stores.

Primark sets aside space for breastfeeding in German stores. Primark is setting up special "Mom's Rooms" in 26 German stores where mothers can breastfeed or pump in peace. The fashion chain is thus responding to a need it identified through its own research. Mom's Rooms. More than half of the mothers surveyed said that the lack of a quiet place had made a store visit difficult at some point. About three out of four would like to be able to voluntarily use a separate room while shopping. The Mom's Rooms will be located near the fitting rooms and will feature, among other things, a seat and extra privacy. Primark does emphasize, however, that the initiative is not intended to discourage public breastfeeding. "Every mother should be able to decide for herself where and how she breastfeeds her child," says Karolina Klingenberg, spokesperson for Primark Germany and Austria. Primark currently has 28 stores in Germany, so only two stores are not (yet) participating. For substantive support, Primark is collaborating with the German family organization Wellcome. Through QR codes in the spaces, mothers also have access to advice and tips. Primark also plans to roll out the concept beyond its own stores. The retailer is inviting other stores, restaurants, shopping centers, and public institutions to make breastfeeding-friendly spaces more visible.
