Requirements

Functional literacy and numeracy.
Understanding of process specifications, recipes, and interpretation of data.
Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to understand goals and objectives as explained by the supervisor.
Ability to work shifts, including overtime and weekends.
Willingness to be trained and become multi-skilled.

Responsibilities

Operate palletizer equipment according to standard operating procedures.
Adhere to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points principles.
Assist in identifying appropriate corrective actions where necessary.
Report wastage.
Conduct quality checks according to the checklist.
Record downtime.
Keep equipment and the work area clean.
Rectify and report all deviations to the supervisor.
Adhere to all safety regulations and report unsafe practices.
Adhere to personal and factory hygiene standards.

Operating Palletizer equipment according to SOP
Adhere to HACCP principles
Assist in identifying appropriate Corrective Action where necessary
Report on wastage
Conduct quality checks as per checklist

Ensure that equipment and work area is clean

Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to and report any unsafe practices
Adhere to personal and factory standard in respect of hygiene
