About the company

Small Girls PR is a public relations agency that helps brands gain media coverage and grow their presence through media relations, influencer marketing, and experiential events. It works by starting with insight-led brand strategy and content, then executing across digital, print, broadcast, and new formats like podcasts and Substack, plus influencer and celebrity partnerships and live activations. Differentiators include highly personalized, one-to-one outreach, a strong emphasis on creator-driven programs and experiential activations, and a culture rooted in blogging and social-media communities. The goal is to help brands stand out in crowded markets by crafting authentic stories and experiences that spark conversations and build lasting reputations; SGPR operates from NYC and LA and serves consumer tech, lifestyle, and retail clients, and was acquired by Orchestra in 2024 to scale capabilities while preserving its culture.

What believers are saying

  • 2026 filings show 76 to 100 employees, signaling post-acquisition headcount growth.
  • SGPR’s 2026 work still drives attention: Skylight, Amazon Ring, and thredUP.
  • Orchestra backing expands cross-selling into broader communications budgets after the 2024 deal.

What critics are saying

  • Orchestra integration can flatten SGPR’s founder-led culture and reduce speed by 2026.
  • PR work is client-concentrated; losing Billie, Hinge, or GE would hit revenue fast.
  • The agency’s differentiation is highly people-driven; senior departures would damage client retention.

What makes Small Girls PR unique

  • Mallory Blair kept leadership after Orchestra’s October 2024 acquisition.
  • SGPR blends PR, influencer marketing, and experiential work for consumer launches.
  • Its portfolio spans Billie, GE, Hinge, Snapchat, and Olay, covering startups to giants.
