U.S. Energy expands Volt Vault portfolio with ElectricFish 400 kW ultra-fast charging system

U.S. Energy has expanded its Volt Vault product line with a new unit powered by ElectricFish's 400squared energy storage and ultra-fast charging system. The configuration integrates battery-backed charging technology into U.S. Energy's redeployable infrastructure platform, enabling high-power EV charging without extensive grid upgrades. The system offers dual-port charging at up to 400 kW whilst operating from a reduced grid connection. It stores energy during off-peak periods and releases it at high power when vehicles charge, allowing ultra-fast charging in locations with constrained electrical capacity. The unit supports peak shaving, demand charge management, and grid-responsive operations through an AI-powered optimisation platform. It targets commercial fuelling locations, municipal installations, fleet depots, and logistics hubs.
