Adamo and Lawler join the firm as Executive Managing Directors, while Leland takes on the role of Transaction Manager. Together, the three professionals bring extensive experience in commercial real estate, including office leasing, investment sales, capital markets, transaction management and property repositioning. Their arrival represents a strategic expansion of Cushman & Wakefield's advisory platform in the Chicago metropolitan area. With their combined market knowledge, professional relationships and experience in developing real estate strategies, the new team members are expected to help clients navigate changing market conditions and identify opportunities to improve property performance. Strengthening Chicago's suburban office market expertise. Chicago's suburban office market requires specialized knowledge of leasing demand, investment conditions, property positioning and ownership objectives. Cushman & Wakefield's latest appointments are designed to reinforce its ability to advise clients across these areas. Adamo and Lawler will contribute complementary expertise in leasing strategies, investment sales and capital markets. Their backgrounds include working with property owners, corporate occupiers and investors to develop strategies tailored to individual buildings and broader real estate portfolios. Leland's transaction management experience will provide additional operational support, helping clients manage real estate transactions from initial proposals through execution. Her role is expected to contribute to efficient deal coordination and a more streamlined transaction process. The appointments also reflect Cushman & Wakefield's continued focus on attracting experienced professionals who can strengthen its regional capabilities and deliver specialized advice to clients. Damla Gerhart, Executive Regional Director for the Midwest at Cushman & Wakefield, said the company remains committed to recruiting leading talent across the Chicago metropolitan area and its broader platform. Gerhart described Adamo, Lawler and Leland as highly regarded advisers and problem-solvers for investors in suburban Chicago office properties. She added that their experience and strategic approach would help the firm deliver valuable ideas and solutions as market conditions continue to improve. Peter Adamo brings more than 30 years of experience. Adamo joins Cushman & Wakefield with more than three decades of commercial real estate experience, specializing in office leasing and the sale of corporate real estate on behalf of property owners and occupiers. Before joining the firm, he spent 33 years at CBRE, where he established a strong presence in Chicago's suburban commercial real estate market. During his tenure, Adamo became known for his expertise in real estate strategy and his active involvement in leasing and property sales assignments. His experience working with both owners and occupiers provides insight into the different considerations that influence commercial real estate decisions. Property owners typically focus on occupancy, rental income, asset value and investment performance, while occupiers seek locations and leasing arrangements that support their operational requirements. Adamo's background is expected to strengthen Cushman & Wakefield's ability to advise clients on these priorities and develop leasing and sales strategies suited to their objectives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. Adam Lawler adds an investor-focused perspective. Lawler joins the firm as an Executive Managing Director, bringing a background that combines property ownership, investment management and commercial real estate brokerage. His professional experience spans leasing, investment sales, acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management. This broad perspective provides an understanding of the financial and operational factors that influence real estate investment decisions. Before moving into brokerage, Lawler held positions at Crestlight Capital and Sterling Bay. These experiences helped shape his understanding of investment strategies, property performance and the challenges associated with managing commercial real estate assets. In his brokerage career, Lawler has developed and implemented leasing and repositioning strategies for investors across Chicago's suburban office market. These strategies can help property owners respond to changing tenant requirements, strengthen a building's market position and pursue improved investment outcomes. At Cushman & Wakefield, his combined knowledge of investment management and leasing is expected to support clients seeking to enhance the performance of individual properties and larger portfolios. Lawler holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Madeline Leland strengthens transaction management. Leland joins Cushman & Wakefield as Transaction Manager, bringing experience in coordinating commercial real estate transactions and overseeing the processes required to move deals from initial proposals to completion. Transaction management plays an important role in commercial real estate by helping clients coordinate documentation, manage deal requirements and maintain progress throughout negotiations and execution. Efficient transaction processes can improve communication among stakeholders and help reduce operational complexity. Leland's experience is expected to complement the advisory capabilities of Adamo and Lawler by providing dedicated support for transaction operations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois State University. Leadership highlights collaborative approach. Jeremy Bressman, Director of Brokerage in Chicago at Cushman & Wakefield, welcomed the three professionals and highlighted the value of their collective knowledge of the suburban office market. Bressman said their collaborative approach, industry experience and established community relationships would strengthen the firm's ability to help property owners and investors navigate market challenges and achieve their real estate objectives. He also emphasized that their professional backgrounds and working styles make them a strong fit for the company. All three professionals join Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE, bringing experience that can support the firm's broader commercial real estate advisory services. Their appointments reinforce the company's focus on combining local market knowledge with specialized expertise across leasing, investment sales and transaction management. By expanding its Chicago office leasing and capital markets teams, Cushman & Wakefield aims to strengthen its relationships with investors and property owners while positioning itself to address the evolving needs of the suburban office market.
