About the job
- A completed technical vocational qualification, such as electrician, electronics technician, metalworker, industrial mechanic, or mechatronics technician, or a comparable commercial-technical qualification suitable for operating and maintaining technical equipment.
- Practical professional experience operating, controlling, monitoring, maintaining, or servicing technical equipment or machinery.
- Experience in a technical-operational plant, machinery, or production environment.
- Technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electrohydraulic equipment.
- Practical and manual skills for routine work and to support maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Strong safety and responsibility awareness.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Willingness to flexibly take on different operational duties as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in the operational on-call service.
- German proficiency sufficient for safe communication during plant operations, understanding work, operating, and safety instructions, and completing required documentation.
- Class B driver's license.
- Ensure safe, proper, and minimally disrupted operation of the biogas plant together with the operations team.
- Conduct daily inspections and visual checks and monitor relevant operating parameters.
- Check raw material quality during removal and delivery.
- Properly feed the biogas plant, including introducing solid materials.
- Check safety systems, safety equipment, and technical, electrical, and mechanical operating equipment.
- Independently carry out routine operational work.
- Support maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting work.
- Perform simple tasks at the gas processing plant and, where relevant at the site, the combined heat and power plant.
- Maintain required operating, maintenance, and service logs.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the assigned area and keep escape and rescue routes clear.
- Maintain green spaces and perform winter maintenance in the plant area.
- Participate in the operational on-call service.
- Recognize and assess deviations and faults early during plant operations, act independently within the scope of qualifications, and involve the operations manager in a timely manner when needed, including during on-call duty.
- A forklift truck or construction machinery operator certificate is desirable.
- Relevant practical experience may also come from production, agriculture, energy, environmental technology, process engineering, or a comparable technical environment.
