What believers are saying

  • Bain published fresh September 21, 2026 banking research using NPS Prism data.
  • NPS Prism Asia Private Limited incorporated January 22, 2024, signaling Asian expansion.
  • Quarterly 20,000-plus-respondent refreshes keep the dataset current and defensible.

What critics are saying

  • If Bain reprioritizes consulting, NPS Prism loses its only durable distribution channel.
  • CX benchmarking is easy to imitate with cheaper panels and software.
  • Privacy rules and survey fatigue degrade response quality, undermining renewals and trust.

What makes NPS Prism unique

  • Bain still backs NPS Prism on its October 2026 website.
  • It combines quarterly survey refreshes with competitor-level journey, channel, and product benchmarks.
  • Its data spans 500-plus companies, 30-plus countries, and 10 industries.
