About the job

Requirements
  • A background in solutions consulting, technical implementation, professional services, or forward deployed engineering at a B2B SaaS company, ideally in travel, hospitality, events, or commerce.
  • A track record of managing complex technical deliveries end-to-end with real customer teams, including scoping, coordinating builds, launching, and iterating.
  • Experience supporting enterprise pre-sales by joining discovery calls, scoping requirements, and contributing to deal closure on technically complex opportunities.
  • Experience managing delivery through agency partners or contractors, not just internal teams.
  • Strong understanding of web platforms, REST APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, and data pipelines, with the ability to scope work accurately, review technical output, and work effectively with engineers.
  • Familiarity with data and analytics tools such as GA4 and CRM/marketing integrations such as Klaviyo.
  • Comfort with version control using Git, deployment workflows, and working directly alongside engineering teams.
  • Ability to conduct detailed technical requirements sessions and present progress updates to founders, adapting communication to the audience.
  • Commercial awareness to understand how technical decisions affect revenue, retention, and growth and explain this to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain a productive feedback loop between field teams and internal product and engineering teams.
  • Curiosity about how businesses operate and commitment to developing deep platform knowledge.
  • Self-direction and comfort with ambiguity, prioritization, and context-switching.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including extended on-site stays.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales on complex deals requiring technical depth by joining discovery calls, scoping requirements, and helping build the commercial case for Easol.
  • Conduct technical discovery with prospects to identify complex requirements, assess platform fit, and surface integration needs before contract signature.
  • Design and deliver solution narratives and product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's operational setup and commercial goals.
  • Feed structured pre-sales insights to the Product team so recurring prospect needs and market gaps are captured and prioritized.
  • Own end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise creators after sale, from scoping through go-live.
  • Map creator teams' existing systems, including PMS, channel managers, F&B/POS, identity, data warehouses, and BI tools, and define their integrations with Easol.
  • Define technical architecture for each engagement and coordinate delivery across agency partners and internal engineering, managing scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Work with Easol's engineering team to extend the API surface when enterprise needs exceed existing endpoints.
  • Travel to and embed at creator offices and venues globally for extended periods.
  • Hand over live, self-sufficient creators to the ongoing Customer Success team with clear documentation of what was built and how it works.
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of Easol's platform, including its architecture, capabilities, configuration options, integration points, and roadmap.
  • Share field insights with Product, including recurring pain points, unmet needs, and integration patterns that should become first-class features.
  • Identify commercial opportunities within accounts, including revenue optimization, conversion uplift, and operational efficiency.

Easol Capital Launched To Provide Fast And Effective Financing That Will Deliver Unique Boost To The Festival Market

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Easol, a leading travel and experience commerce technology company, is announcing the launch of Easol Capital, a new financing solution tailor-made for festival organisers. Easol Capital will create a fairer, flexible and transparent financing process that puts control back in the hands of festival organisers. CHALLENGING THE EXISTING ADVANCE MODEL: Sourcing capital can be difficult for SMEs in the events and travel industries, as traditional finance providers are reluctant to loan following the pandemic. Difficulties obtaining capital are compounded by the current cost of living crisis and ongoing supply chain issues which mean having a reliable cash flow is more important than ever to secure the future of a festival. Until now, some ticketing platforms have looked to fill this gap by offering cash advances, but this comes at the expense of festival organisers. Whilst the advances are nominally free, festival organisers have often been tied into contracts with punitive terms around ticketing fees and long exclusivity, which limit organisers’ control over their own booking fees and data:
