Requirements
  • A degree from a well-regarded college or university is required; a STEM degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, optimization, and/or statistics, including experience using Python and SQL.
  • At least 1 year of experience building data science software.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, marketing, and/or marketing research, including technology and/or media experience and account or client management.
  • Understanding of the advertising and media landscape, particularly measurement vendors and advertising platforms.
  • Ability to communicate technical information with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience making appropriate research or analysis recommendations for business problems.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Documents, Google Slides, and/or Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and proactively about diverse business problems.
  • Ability to manage the quality and accuracy of data sources and downstream analytics, including checking personal and others' work.
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results by deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and own projects and independently manage assigned workstreams.
  • Understand clients' overall business objectives and translate them into campaign and measurement strategies.
  • Oversee media campaign performance, meet client targets, and create insightful narratives through bespoke reporting.
  • Write reports and present findings to clients in an engaging and persuasive manner.
  • Develop research, measurement, and analytical approaches.
  • Perform statistical analysis of complex datasets.
  • Manage the ingestion and cleaning of new datasets relevant to assigned work and projects.
  • Create reproducible work using common coding languages, prioritizing Python and SQL.
  • Work with data scientists and engineers to productionalize new tools.
  • Interpret data to understand business implications and frame analyses, stories, and slides for client media plans and reports.
  • Serve as the key client point of contact for campaign measurement, optimization, and data infrastructure.
  • Create interactive data tools delivered to clients, including dashboards for marketing campaign performance, media experiments, and simulation tools.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with STEM degree coursework or a STEM degree.
  • Prior experience creating marketing campaign performance dashboards, media experiment tools, or simulation tools using MCI.
