October 13, 2026 Omar Malik LRN Corporation, a provider of ethics and compliance solutions, has appointed Omar Malik as Managing Director for Asia-Pacific (APAC), strengthening its regional leadership as the company expands its business across the region. Based in Singapore, Malik will oversee LRN's APAC operations, focusing on business development, client relationships and the adoption of the company's ethics and compliance technology solutions. Malik brings more than 20 years of commercial and leadership experience across Asia-Pacific, including senior positions at Elsevier and Thomson Reuters. Most recently, he served as Regional Director of Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand at Elsevier, where he led go-to-market strategy and managed enterprise client relationships. Previously, Malik was Head of Compliance Learning Sales for APAC at Thomson Reuters, helping expand the company's compliance training business across regional markets. He began his career as a software engineer before moving into commercial leadership and compliance-related roles. "Omar's appointment underscores our commitment to growing LRN's presence across APAC and delivering greater value to clients throughout the region," said Bob Lemmond, CEO of LRN. Lemmond said Malik's experience in risk, governance and compliance will support LRN's regional growth strategy as organizations respond to evolving regulatory requirements and the increasing adoption of artificial intelligence. The appointment follows the recent launches of Catalyst Policy and Catalyst Voice, two additions to LRN's portfolio of ethics and compliance solutions. "Organizations are navigating increasingly complex expectations around ethics, compliance, and culture, and they need partners who understand both their business and the markets in which they operate," Malik said. He added that he plans to work closely with clients to expand LRN's presence and support the development of effective ethics and compliance programs throughout APAC. Founded in 1994, LRN provides AI-powered ethics and compliance technology, employee education, analytics and advisory services to organizations worldwide. More than 2,500 organizations use LRN's solutions to manage compliance requirements, strengthen ethical decision-making and support corporate governance. Malik's appointment adds regional commercial leadership as LRN seeks to expand its Asia-Pacific client base and adoption of its compliance technology platform.

LRN launches AI-enabled Catalyst Voice to connect employee hotline reporting with case management

LRN Corporation has launched Catalyst Voice, an AI-enabled employee reporting and case management solution designed to help organisations build speak-up cultures and identify workplace risks early. The platform provides a digital-first experience for raising concerns, removing traditional barriers through interactive employee guidance. Built into LRN's Catalyst platform, the system features AI-assisted multilingual intake, anonymous and identified reporting options, and configurable case management workflows. LRN's research found that whilst employees in strong ethical cultures report concerns 93% of the time, one-third of employees lack confidence they can report misconduct without retaliation. The solution connects reporting data with broader ethics and compliance programme insights, allowing organisations to identify patterns and address issues faster. LRN has served over 2,500 organisations since 1994.

LRN launches Catalyst Policy to streamline global corporate policy governance with AI integration

LRN Corporation has launched Catalyst Policy, a compliance policy management solution integrated into its Catalyst platform. The tool helps global organisations automate policy creation, management, and communication across different geographies, languages, and regulatory requirements. The solution was developed with input from clients including Howden Group, a global insurance intermediary. Ian Jacob, Group Head of Compliance at Howden Group, said the company struggled to find existing solutions that went beyond simple repositories to support comprehensive policy governance. Catalyst Policy addresses growing complexity in policy management as organisations face expanding regulatory requirements and the need for AI-related governance. The platform connects policy governance with measurable outcomes, providing boards, regulators, and auditors with clear evidence of oversight and accountability whilst helping employees understand workplace conduct expectations.
