Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to scan documents and upload them into DocuWare.
  • Ability to identify customer-specific First Article requirements and ensure all requirements are met before First Article submission.
  • Ability to work with products for multiple customers accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to document process-improvement opportunities through Engineering Change Requests.
  • Ability to generate Non-Conformance Reports for non-conforming products as needed.
  • Ability to verify part marking for correctness.
  • Ability to follow work instructions, clock jobs, stamp off the current operation, and understand required workflow and workload.
  • Training in blueprint reading and interpretation, First Article Inspection Form completion, and Non-Conformance Report creation.
  • Familiarity with products and processes.
  • Understanding of quality as it relates to a total customer-service philosophy.
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, database software, and Net-Inspect.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions of the job, including occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds and working in a loud shop environment.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the quality team, shipping, supply chain, program managers, engineering, and production flow to ensure required documentation and certifications are correct and scanned into DocuWare.
  • Finalize First Article Inspection Reports to meet the customer's final requirements.
