- Strong programming skills and proficiency across full-stack web development, including React with NextJS, Express, and PostgreSQL.
- A track record of moving quickly and excitement to wear many hats across engineering, product, and working directly with customers.
- Own large projects from 0 to 1 by defining product requirements, designing systems, building both back-end and front-end components, and testing and iterating with customer feedback.
- Build new use cases that leverage agentic workflow automation and application software, especially for recruiting, onboarding, and compliance workflows for customers.
- Build internal infrastructure for artificial intelligence voice applications, including inference, transcription, voice, and telephony capabilities.
- Deploy existing use cases for customers onboarding onto Alden, including building internal tools and integrations with electronic health records, human resources systems, and communications platforms.
- Establish and improve engineering processes.
- Engage directly with customers.
- Work closely with the CEO and CTO to define Alden's team culture.
- Ideally 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Curiosity around experimenting with cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies, including large language models and voice artificial intelligence applications.
