Responsibilities
Operate a Prentice/Grapple truck in a railroad construction environment supporting construction operations.
Demonstrate experienced operation and well-developed equipment knowledge.
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Prentice trucks and other heavy or specialized equipment.
Safely drive, operate, and maintain commercial driver's license-required vehicles and equipment while following Department of Transportation regulations, permits, and driving requirements.
Assist with supervision of a small crew as necessary.
Maintain proper equipment appearance and cleanliness.
Perform labor duties as needed.

Job Description
The Prentice Truck operator (Operator 1) operates a prentice truck in a railroad construction environment and performs preventative maintenance and minor repair on prentice truck. Operation and equipment knowledge at a well-developed level is required. Safely drive and operate vehicles while following DOT regulations. This position requires substantial travel to any of the states in which we operate.
Duties & Responsibilities

Physical Requirements:
Mobility to participate in frequent travel to and from the project location; ability to operate heavy equipment; lifting of up to 100 pounds in the performance of duties. Agility to navigate into confined spaces if necessary.
Environmental Conditions:
Performs duties in multiple environments including outside construction project settings, in and around moving vehicles and equipment. Exposure to weather elements; must wear appropriate PPE required for the project site.
Qualifications:
