Arcwood Environmental launches VeriFAS™ with 99.9999% PFAS destruction rate

Arcwood Environmental has launched VeriFAS™, an end-to-end solution for disposing of and destroying PFAS-containing materials. The US Environmental Protection Agency led testing at Arcwood's hazardous waste incineration facility, which demonstrated destruction and removal efficiency of up to and greater than 99.9999% across multiple PFAS-containing materials. The testing comprised three sampling campaigns and nine labelled tests using real-world materials including aqueous film-forming foam, concentrated PFAS-containing waste, and granular activated carbon. EPA's formal report is expected in December 2026. VeriFAS™ integrates evaluation and field services, transportation, and hazardous waste incineration. The solution addresses the challenge organisations face as they identify and remove PFAS from products, water systems, firefighting foam, and industrial processes.
